The food was great, and there was a lot of it. Our group had many different dishes and we were all very happy. The service was also pretty good (cute and cheerful was a plus!). The atmosphere was a little bit lacking, and it was warm inside, but it’s the food that counts. FYI: This is not a fix in front of you hibachi restaurant.

So for once I forgot to take a picture of my meal because I was pretty excited to eat. It. Stopped here by accident when we went looking for downtown and didn’t really find one. This is a fantastic stop with really good food. My wife had just mentioned that she wanted hibachi about an hour and a half before and we ended up finding this place and she was very happy.

This was my first time visiting here. Right as you walk in you are greeted warmly by the hostess and seated quickly. The waitress we had was very busy and never let it show, everyone was a favorite customer.

Food tasted good. However, we found a bug leg in the shrimp shumai. Did not make a big deal paid for food anyway. Saw server cough into her hands and not wash before handling plates. Both of us ended up throwing up a few hours after we ate. The “fresh” salmon did not have a fresh texture, and was slightly warm. We are a HUGE sushi and nigiri eating family. Who pay upwards of 150 for a nice sushi dinner for 2. There’s definitely a difference between fresh fish here and other places we’ve been. This was not great quality and the special sauce was severely salty. Will not be eating here again unfortunately even tho the food tasted decent. We love hole in the wall places, but the outside of the building really did represent the food quality this time.

Cute little Japanese place. Good food, generous portions, friendly staff. Highly recommend the bento box! So many delightful light foods. Really enjoyed the sushi rolls and grilled teriyaki. My friend doesn’t normally like fried rice and cleaned the plate. Sukiyaki was very good too.

Wow!! We went with some friends for a Saturday night outing and were really impressed with this place!I wish I could remember to take pictures more often. The food was very well prepared and delicious, the sushi was made fresh and delicious. The service staff was as friendly and helpful as possible. We loved it and will be back.A rel gem.

Love Peniku!!! The choices are endless and well prepared. The staff is warm and welcoming. Hibachi, sushi, tempura all served hot and fresh. You won’t be disappointed.

Yummy and tornado rolls. Sukiyaki Chicken. Stopped by on my way out of town. I was a little skeptical, but I was pleasantly surprised. Wait staff was tentative and courteous. The meal came out shortly after placing the order. The rolls were excellent. The sukiyaki chicken was tasteful and tender. The veggies on the side were a tad firm, but very much edible as I finished all of them. The only drawback to the meal was that I asked for no onions, and got them anyways. Not a deal breaker. I would recommend stopping in and having a meal.
