One if the best spots in the area to get fresh fish. The clam chowder was good, crab cakes really good and differnt than an average crabcake. The Mahi Mahi sandwich was simple and amazing. Not much flavor to the slaw side but it was good.

I had a strong feeling that the people talking about food isn’t seasoned just didn’t order the right seasoning on the food and my speculations were correct.

We wanted some fish. Pelly has you covered from take home and cook yourself quality fresh fished to deep fried to grilled to sashimi and poke. We ate 3 versions with the grilled ahi, the sashimi and some deep fried fish and crab cakes (oh and some fresh grab too!). It was all great and the service was good too. Highly recommended.

I’m going to give them a three on this one. It’s my first time visiting Pelly’s. I found them on Google doing a search for fish and chip. The pictures looked great and on arriving the place looked fantastic and the service was wonderful. I tried the three piece fish and chip. The price was not bad I think it was like $17 or so. But after driving to the beach to have my fish I discovered it was slightly overcooked. The middle was nice and moist but all the ends were fried to that cardboard like consistency. I was a little disappointed after spending my money and I was very hungry. The part I ate was very good. I won’t give up on them since this was my first visit and the first impressions are very important, I realize everyone has a bad day. So I may pop in on Pelly’s again soon and see if the experience is better. For right now, three stars.

Nothing fancy, just nice people making good food at reasonable prices. The restaurant is small, with indoor and outdoor seating a fresh fish case, and a soda fountain. Clean and good, we went back for more the next day. The restaurant itself is in an area between 2 buildings, no direct line of sight, so you have to look. It’s between the Jersey Mike’s and the Starbucks.

Pelly’s Fish Market may not appear extraordinary because of the fast-food-like set up, the customer noise, and non-fancy decor, but the quality and freshness of the seafood is excellent. The fresh crab and shrimp salad makes a superb meal. Look at the beautiful counter displays of maguro and other fish, if you have plans to take some with you.

I don’t know why this place got 4.5 stars, but it really does not live up to the hypes. Although a few of their food items like the shrimp tacos are delicious, most others are so-so, if not sub-par. (Don’t order the steamed shellfish and any salad). Putting the food aside, the lady at the cash register really gave me a hard time. The first time we were there, my 3 year old daughter let out a scream, the lady immediately shushed her in a very mean tone (her shush was almost as loud and prolonged as my daughter’s scream). The 2nd time we went there, we had no problems except she got our order wrong. And today, when we went there, my daughter grabbed a bottle of orange soda. I took the soda from her and put it back on the fridge shelf and told her that I would get her some fountain drink instead. As we walked to the fountain drink area, my daughter turned around and grabbed the orange soda again. Then this lady walked over and said to me in a very rude tone: “Can you watch her? Her hands are all over the place.” Well, lady, first of all, my daughter’s hands were not all over the place. She was just trying to grab 1 bottle of soda. Second, I was already telling my daughter to not get the soda. As I was pointing to the fountain drinks to get her attention there, she turned back for the orange soda in a split second. It all happened so fast that I was still looking at the fountain while talking to her. I was trying my best to have my 3 yo to not touch anything while getting her to the drinks, while holding a handful of things. And this lady just felt it was necessary to give me a hard time. Anyway, this is the last time we come here.

This place was a nice surprise for us. The tacos and quesadillas were really great. The cioppino wasn’t that great however and was salty. The grilled halibut was good. The service was fast and the restaurant was very clean. It has outside seats and some inside seats. This is a family and handicap friendly facility. Plenty of parking spaces in the business plaza.

whoa ahh
They have the best fish tacos and the combo with the coleslaw n rice is on point. Very different coleslaw than I have ever tried. You can taste the vinegar but however they make it is interesting n really good. I also love their red manhattan soup has tons of different vegetables but taste delicious n always makes me feel great. Everything here seems to be super fresh, healthy, and tasty. High quality for fair prices.

Pelly’s Fish Market proved to be a true haven. Nestled in a quaint corner, this establishment captured the essence of a traditional fish market while also offering an extensive menu of fresh caught seafood items.
