I was so upset I paid the price for this bowl of what suppose be shredded garlic chicken with garlic sauce. It was hardly any chicken in the bowl , so much veggies & no chicken. I was so dissatisfied. It was a dinner not even a lunch special my veggies were hard & the garlic sauce was undetectable

Never again. General Tso’s Chicken combo. Looked and tasted like it came out of a jar from the supermarket. The egg roll wasn’t much bigger than my thumb. I spent most of the afternoon in the bathroom…

The shrimp broccoli combo was very delicious, thank you very much!

By far, the worst General Tso Chicken I’ve had from any Chinese restaurant. Somehow, the pork fried rice was flavorless. If faucet water was edible, that’s what the rice tasted like. The chicken were in big pieces, which would be fine, if it wasn’t too tough to bite through (with no mouth/teeth issues). The sauce had a slight sweetness, but the chicken itself had NO flavor at all. The chicken was also drowned in a bad sauce, making it not crispy at all, and made me feel like i was drinking a spoon full of rice.

The prices were low, but the quality was quite poor. I got a lunch special, which was mostly rice. The steamed dumplings were mushy and lacking some flavor. The hot and sour soup with my lunch special didn’t taste right, and the wonton strips that came with the soup were so stale it left me wondering what other ingredients they were using past expiration. I will pick a different spot next time.

The food is okay, the prices are within reasonable range. But in today’s world they are missing one of the most important things to look out for. COVID-19 safety. They keep their distance, but you can definitely tell from the front desk layout. And the staff? Nobody wears a mask. Don’t mind if I do not wear one, but you’re a business and you should be enforcing the policy for public safety.

I ordered crispy orange chicken. They should rename it sloppy sugary orange chicken soup. It was in no way shape or form Crispy. It was smothered in sugary slop.I understand that it’s very hard to find good Chinese food, but in a town like Summit New Jersey? You would figure it would be decent. It was not. I threw the whole thing in the garbage.

Very disappointed. stopped in to order lunch. my friend ordered general tso and I ordered orange chicken. they sent out very bland slop on rice and both our plates looked exactly the same with not much flavor. also “hot” sour soup came out cold and she put in microwave. not sure how they get good reviews otherwise

I feel like this place is so underrated. They have become our go-to for great Chinese AND Japanese! Great for picky eaters who want variety. Every order has always been fresh, delicious, and delivered quickly. Their staff is very kind, and even delivered to us during a snowstorm. Have to give these guys credit – we’re a very busy couple with little time to make dinner, but Peking Garden is always there for us. Thank you for the great food and service!

The chicken and broccoli was Edible! And the lunch special is served with white rice. Not fried rice. The eggroll was bad-like too old bad. I won’t be returning.
