I haven’t eaten at one of these restaurants in years. I was traveling and decided to give this location in the airport a try. I ordered the mongolian beef with white rice. The beef was fatty and chewy. It’s sad because the front end staff was really friendly but the quality of the food was bad. Will not be trying Pei Wei

I eat vegan, and I fly in and out of FLL often. The options in the terminal are dismal and super meat-focused (or bread with bread). Took a walk today and happened upon Pei Wei for the first time and found that they offer vegetarian versions of their dishes. I assumed tofu – which would have been amazing – but it was vegetables. Still, the vegetables are fresh and the sauce isn’t heavy and she even got some brown rice for me. It was a pleasantly personal-feeling experience in the hellish foodscape of an airport terminal. It was clear the person helping me (maybe the owner?) cared about the customer’s experience. If you’re vegetarian, stuck in Ft Lauderdale airport, and hungry – for sure support this place.

The absolute worst customer service. The black chick cash register girl hated her life and job and wanted to make others suffer. She made me repeat things I already said 1000 times. Then got my name wrong on the order. And so did the white old women who thought she knew everything and everybody was wrong, cause you know, I must have told the cashier the wrong name. So I ate cold food cause of people who won’t listen, don’t care, don’t want to be there, and just want the customer to suffer.

The Manager lacks managerial skills, professionalism, has no solution for problems created by his staff (meal not properly made/incorrect order) and THREATENS the customer because he thinks his position at the restaurant gives him the authority to do so when the customer requested her refund after 20 minutes. Irrespective of receiving an incorrect order the customer remained calm and had been threatened by the manager, received her refund 25 minutes after ordering and left the restaurant without receiving a meal. What depth of customer service especially from the manager who should be leading by example.

This one is terribile and the Honey Crispy Chicken had a lot of vinegar and rice was very hard and kids and my wife did not like it and food went to TRASH. We triee Pei Wei once in the city and the kids liked it but this one is HORRIBILE. Going to another place right now
