The full size wings were fried perfectly! I was hoping the baked Mac and cheese would have a little more flavor. But it was cooked so well and yummy regardless. You can never go wrong with collard greens. This was a good hardy meal for $16. I got the jerk chicken wings to share too. (no picture) They were packed with flavor and just fell off the bone. Oh! The blueberry lemonade was so sweet but still tart! I was worried about ordering so close to the end of business hours. They did great regardless!! Our unit nurses really appreciated the effort and quality in our meals.

The first time I ordered I had the cat fish dinner with cabbage. I couldn’t complain but I wasn’t amazed either. Meanwhile my mother loved it. Their banana pudding is amazing and their lemonades are ridiculously good! Customer service is nice as well. Second time I went I got the salmon and broccoli sub. NEVER AGAIN. I got it back soak and wet w the sauces, salmon didn’t taste like much and my cabbage wasn’t seasoned. Maybe it was a bad day , who knows but I wouldn’t order that again. I think I’m okay with just coming for their desserts and lemonades. Thank you !!

Great customer service and delicious food! Enough for 2 meals. I got the whiting, yams and greens. My husband got the 4 wings, greens and potatoe salad. Everything was seasoned well…the greens were just a little too salty but still good. The potato salad was definitely homemade..my husband loved the wings! My fish and yams were on popoint. We will be back!!!

I ordered the Whiting Fish dinner w/ collard greens & baked macaroni and the food was delicious!! The portions are generous so you’re getting plenty for your money! Top off your meal with a bean pie for your dessert. Great soul food has arrived in downtown York, PA.

The food was amazing. Had oxtails and also fried whiting it was very good . The Mac and cheese is very good also. But my favorite was the banana mousse was by far the best I ever had.

Today was my first time going to this restaurant and I will say that it did not disappoint. The food and customer service was top notch. The Mac and cheese, broccoli and salmon cheese steak, fried catfish and banana mousse was 10’s across the board. This place is one of my new favorite restaurants.
