Pearlz has a decent happy hour that’s nice to stop by and enjoy. Like many places right now, service can be hit or miss so bring along your patience and understanding and you’ll be fine. The shrimp we got were just a touch mushy, and the hush puppies a bit ‘meh ‘ Oysters were great- had raw and fried. The fried version were table favorites. $3 glasses of champagne/processco!

We ordered a shrimp platter and the wrong order was brought out. The next order wasn’t honored. So even though the food was good the order has to be correct. We are a group of eleven.

We got the fried oysters, peel and eat shrimp, crab bisque, and the oyster shooters for happy hour. It was all perfect, the fried oysters were fried perfectly. Super unique oyster shooters and the bisque was great.

We have the Rockafeller and peel & eat shrimp for starters which was great. The fried oysters had shells in most of them and very chewy (like old gum). Red rice was undercooked and bland. Corn fritters were bland. Our cocktails were good. Waitress was amazing. For Charleston seafood the food needs work especially the sides. I recommend the oyster roast during the oyster season!

Food was delicious and worth the price. The ambiance was laidback and relaxed and our waitress was amazing!! If we lived here we would be regulars. Stared with raw oysters, I had crab cakes with chips and broccoli salad and my husband had the lobster roll. We went all out but you could get out of here at a lower price. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Pearlz in West Ashley is one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston. Great service, staff and food! Oysters are excellent, as were the shrimp, crab cakes, corn fritters, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and we will be back!

The atmosphere was great but the food not so much. Incredibly overpriced bland salad and hush puppies were not good. My husband had a bowl of seafood gumbo that was certainly not worth $10 or $12 dollars. We were with friends and somehow for my husband and I the bill was over $100. Yes we had two beers and two glasses of wine but seriously. Would not return.

A nice place that has good atmosphere. Not a big restaurant, but definitely spacious. I had a friendly waitress. Service was good and the food was pretty good. Good selection of raw oysters at the time, decent fish and chips and my +1 had a crab sandwich that was good. A little hiccup on the side order, but was not worried. Pricing is fair. Parking is decent since the restaurant is located in a quite busy area but I had no issues around 5pm weekend. Overall pretty good experience and would recommend a try for others.

Avoid crab dip completely. Its just melted mozzarella and horseradish. They say on the menu its cream cheese. There is no cream cheese. Mussels were average which means good in my book. Crab cakes were average as well. Would not make my top 10 Charleston restaurant list when I come back.
