We’ve stopped in a few times when we come to Woodland Park. I love the Texas Twinkies. They are different than others that are stuffed with brisket but still absolutely wonderful. You get 5 for $13 which is a pretty good deal in comparison to others I’ve had.

Well that was delicious. We both got pulled pork – mine had a fresh side salad, my husband with the fries. It’s a cool place. They did a really great job taking an old Burger King or something similar and made it into a nice dine-in bbq restaurant and taproom.

Best brisket here! Moist and fork-tender, generous portion on my sandwich. Red potato salad also super good. The “traditional” bbq offered was just average. Attentive and pleasant service in a rustic-modern setting.

A+ I ordered the Reuben and a side salad. Food was delicious! Everyone agreed! Ordered the espresso martini and asked if it was any good and the bartender came back to the table a short while later to say it isn’t. Loved the honesty! I ordered the jaleneno margarita. Sooooo good! Can’t recommend enough!

We were looking for a local place to have dinner on vacation and chose Peak View. It was delicious! Great flavor in the meat and the sauce. Very comfortable, family friendly atmosphere. Have local beers on tap. Price compared to the amount of food you receive is perfect. Service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a hurry so that was not an issue.
