The bartenders were great and the decor was interesting (the stained glass on the ceiling above the bar is beautiful!). I had a tasty drink with huckleberries, since that seemed to be a local specialty.

Visit Spokane and spend time in the historic Davenport Hotel and their Peacock Room Lounge. The lilac city cocktail is fantastic as is the Cougar Gold cheese dip. The staff could not be better. Had wonderful service and conversations with Dan and others. The stain glass peacock ceiling is gorgeous. Take a self guided tour of the entire hotel. You’ll be amazed!

One of my favorites! The vibe is very cozy and unique. I love the stain glass ceiling. The key lime pie martini is my favorite drink. We come here whenever we want to go somewhere a little more special. We always get the cougar gold dip, halibut, and crème brûlée. Anyone who visits Spokane, I take them here!

Excellent customer service, our bartender Jesse was awesome. He made us drinks out of the menu such as Mojito and Cuba Libre.

Service is amazing, food is amazing, drinks are amazing. Popular, high energy place, with beautiful setting. The bar is the most impressive area of the lounge, with the gorgeous peacock stained glass ceiling. Our waitress was very attentive and cared about the quality of our food. She didn’t think our first basket of French bread was up to par, so she quickly brought us another basket (both were *amazing* btw). The Davenport pear drop martini was delicious and the monkey shoulder old fashioned packed a punch. I had the beef tenderloin with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. Tenderloin was grilled to perfection and mouthwateringly good. I had to know what was in the peppercorn sauce, and the waitress happily asked the chef for me so I can (try) to recreate it at home… it was that good. Hubby had the sesame seared yellowfin tuna (appetizer) and was in heaven. After dinner, we sat at the bar and had a night cap. The bartenders were equally attentive as our waitress and were very talented mixologists. Great experience and we will be back!

I’ve never been disappointed. The food and drink are excellent, the atmosphere is classic, and the service is fast and friendly. Also, they had fried halibut and chips….which can be a tough thing to find, but worth it.

The overall experience from the food, atmosphere, and customer service amount to 3 stars. I would say the biggest factor that would incline me to rate even lower was the service and prices. It should be noted that for food at the time of day we went, the late night menu was the only option.

Very cool atmosphere in a super classy hotel. The service is fantastic and the trio appetizer is amazing. The rest of the food was OK, but it was worth the stop.
