This place is such a gem! I’ve had takeout from here once before and it was great. Today, my mom wanted to take a small tour of India for our birthday lunch, so we chose Peacock. We were greeted with warm smiles and seated right away. Madhu gave us expert guidance on the menu’s coconut-free options (due to an allergy), as well as spice levels and flavor profiles. She was so sweet and patient! She even gave us complimentary birthday desserts. The food was awesome! After trying so many dishes, I can confidently venture out past simple butter chicken lol (which is awesome here as well). We’ll definitely be back!

Okay Wow!!! I decided to try this place today for the first time after going to Meena’s. I usually travel 30-40 for my food. The atmosphere and staff incredibly nice and made me feel welcomed. The drinks are the best and the food is beyond a must try sooo good!! Flavor, texture, and presentation right on point. I’ve now found my favorite new place.

Got goat biryani and chicken 65 medium spice. The biryani was good the chicken 65 was good to but the medium spice was more then medium. The service the man I’m assuming was the owner was super nice and very accommodating. The female was rude and when we asked for plain yogurt said kitchen was too busy to pour out plain yogurt. And minutes after we asked if we could have more boiled egg as the biryani came with half of one and the male was super accommodating and brought out right away. Ruined my dinner and mood by simply not brining plain yogurt how hard can it be to pour it in a bowl. Also it wasn’t even busy other then our table was 2 other tables. If the kitchen can’t manage 3 tables and pour out plain ready made yogurt then i don’t know what to say.

PHENOMENAL food! This is food you’d expect from a gourmet restaurant. The dishes, all of them, had a tremendous spectrum of flavors, from the Naan bread to the Chicken. It’s not over-powering, and it’s not bland. It’s just right. Come support local businesses. You won’t be disappointed.

As usual, the Indian cuisine is well known for its flavor but well spiced. This restaurant is nice and clean and they have a lot of dishes on their menu until you don’t know what to choose.

I am inexperienced with Indian cuisine. Our waitress was so patient and did a great job answering all of our questions. Food was fantastic. So many delicious flavors and spices. The waitress was also great about matching me with a dish that fit my level of spice comfort. We will definitely be back!

As a vegetarian, it is very hard to find delicious food in traditional Indian restaurants as they are heavily focused on meat options, as the vegetarian dishes are usually a hit or a miss. Nevertheless, the food at Peacock was on point, the staff and chef listen and pay attention to the requests, and are open for suggestions. I have had food here many times and they have managed to maintain both the quality and quantity. I would recommend you to give it a visit, have a good conversation with the owners, who greatly care about your experience at the restaurant, and have an amazing meal.

What did we order for dine in? Pepper paneer, paneer butter masala, butter naans, chicken dum biryani, and basundi. Did we love everything? Absolutely, yes. Each course was delicious and crafted with love. The best dish on their menu is chicken biryani. My 6 year old is their new fan. We also ordered a to go in the same week and the biryani tasted the same as it tasted for the dine in. I just pray and hope that this restaurant doesn’t end up like other Indian restaurants in a year, not paying attention to sanitation in the restaurant. All Indian restaurants start great but end up filthy. Hoping Peacock management reads this and pays attention towards the less looked-after issue in Indian restaurants. Wish you all good luck and we plan to eat here every week; the drive from Sugar Land will not deter our family.

These folks could probably charge double the price and nobody would be surprised. It’s simply that delicious, be it vegetarian or non vegetarian. Sure the atmosphere is not at the same level of the really fancy Indian restaurants but the quality of the food speaks for itself. Try anything here as I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

THANK YOU FOR BEING OPEN ON CHRISTMAS! The food here was so good. Our other local fav Indian place was just dethroned. PERFECT spicyness levels. Tremendous flavor. Very friendly staff (possibly a family?). We ordered so much to sample and then bring home for leftovers so we could enjoy for a few days. Really loved the chicken biryani. The saag paneer was delicious also. Chicken 65 super yummy. Mango lassi refreshing. Vegetable samosas – mmm what yummy sauce. We will 100% be back. Already looking forward to it.
