The food was absolutely disgusting the rice tasted burnt and was white mixed soy sauce no bean sprout or any kind of vegetable in sight ,the chicken wings were overcooked and the egg roll had big chucks of carrots inside not shredded. I spent 22 dollars and will never step foot back there and to top it off the lady who is the server notices my friend didn’t leave a tip so she hands her receipt back as if she made a mistake and said “No tip for me “ and my friend said no the food was expensive and nasty as hell.

This is not the Peacock of the past. It is horrible! Dry ribs, tasteless pork fried rice, the chicken fingers were overcooked…and the wonton soup was disgusting…wontons were undercooked, broth was pure salt and dark in color and the pieces of pork tasted old and leftover. The prices are high…and the food is terrible!! New owners ruined it, gross food! After so many years of great food so so so disappointing. Do Not waste your money!!

We have ordered door dash from here twice, both times the order has come out wrong. It was missing half the food that we’ve ordered. When we called to try and fix the problem, the lady was unbelievably rude. She blamed door dash and laughed when I expressed my concerns. We have the door dash receipt and the order receipt and there is over a 20 dollar difference. Never again. Mistakes happen, the lack of any sort of concern for their customers is not something I can look past.

This restraunt has a new owner & some of the dishes they serve were better before with the old owner, But some of the dishes served now with the new owner are better then they use to be with the old owner, So you have to know what to order. If you order the same exact dishes you use to order when the old owner was running this place you probably will not be too happy here, but if you experiment a little bit & try some new dishes you may find that a lot of the food here is very good. The first time I came here I did not like it, but after trying if again ( and ordering some other dishes) I think the food is good here & the owner & workers are welcoming, & have very good personalities ( which to be honest you do not find in most other Chinese restaurants) So give them a chance & order a few dishes that maybe you would not normally order & you may find like I did that if you know what to order this place is good.

Been a while since I’ve been, it was a total let down when I finally did revisit. Went for lunch with my Fiancé there and was told to seat ourselves. Thereafter was given two glasses of water and one had a bug in it among other items floating in it. We requested a bottle of water in exchange, we did not feel comfortable drinking out of the dirty glasses that we were given. The food came out maybe 5mins after being placed. Normally fast service is ideal however this seemed very peculiar and questionable. We were highly disappointed in the service as a whole, we were brushed off when expressing our concerns. Quickly we decided to pack up and just leave. Once the bill arrived we were charged for the bottle of water that replaced the unsanitary glass of water. For $1.50 , it seemed very odd that it wasn’t just credited seeing as though what was given to us initially could not be consumed. The food was definitely one star if not less, can tell it was very much rushed and thrown together. At no point were we offered alternatives to our problems, only an apology and told there was nothing they can do. I don’t think I will ever return nor recommend in the future. Again, VERY DISSATISFIED!

The food is not that good anymore! The boneless ribs were dry and had no taste. The rice was unevenly mixed! Chicken fingers were good. Servers were nice.

The food is still good but, sadly, not like it was before ownership changed. To echo many of the other reviews I have also been coming here consistently since I was a child in the 90’s – it was THE SPOT for chinese food, far surpassing any others in the area. The last several times we have ordered have fell short. Sub par lo mein. The previously delicious egg rolls are now half the size as well as the fried shrimp. The crab ragoons are still the best in the area, however. We will continue coming here on occasion but I cannot say I have the same loyalty as I did in past.

Please don’t call this restaurant by its original name . We were so disappointed with the food . It was nothing like the savory delicious Chinese the original owner used to serve. A better name now would be yucky’s.
