I will say the service was really nice. BUT I was a little disappointed with this place. The food was not my favorite. We both got the All American. I want to try the pancakes, I’ll say the maple syrup with bananas was okay. The chicken sausage we both thought needed some work with flavor. The potatoes were the best thing that we had on our plates.

Have come to expect mediocre food and service in the post-covid Era and was pleasantly surprised visiting Peacock Café while on vacation. Our dinner here was perfect. Food cooked to perfection and the service was impeccable. The three course prix fixe menu was an excellent option and when considering the quality of the meat and seafood, an excellent value.

Loved our brunch here! The servers were all very attentive to us, and seemed to care deeply about not only their jobs, but the restaurant itself. A delightful restaurant with top notch service. I ordered the crab and pesto risotto which was fine, tasty and a nice sized portion (I just prefer mine a little drier) . My dining companions also enjoyed their pasta dishes. Our waiter was very personable, attentive and engaging (my wife found him a little too much – toe-mato, tomato – to each their own). One funny thing, it seems every time I took a sip from my water, there was a different server topping it off. Prices were reasonable and the decor was nice – if you’re in the neighbourhood, it should be considered an option for your dining needs.

Came to the Peacock for the first time and it was a great experience. The menu was interesting and had something for everyone without looking pretentious or a menu just thrown together. We ordered the risotto with crab, steamed muscles, and the aho tuna salad. Highly recommend the sherry old fashioned. It was a nice change. The service was great. Very attentive and never felt rushed
