Stopped in for crawfish and was disappointed they were out stayed anyway and got the “Cajun” shrimp which came slathered in this ketchup type paste. Nothing Cajun about it. I also asked for extra spicy and there wasn’t a spec of spice in it lol. The bartender was sweet and the margaritas were good. I’d go back for drinks but food not so much.

Paul’s margaritas, fried shrimp, garlic butter shrimp and homemade brownies with ice cream are all excellent. Fun spot to have a drink on the deck or on top of the boat and take in a view of the sunset. Festive down-home hangout with great food and drinks.

I have been driving by this place for 20 years and have never stopped by. Tonight I did and was pleasantly surprised. Wife and I came in at 9:45 on a Friday. Our server Jess was awesome. Tera at the bar was also awesome and gave us recommendations. Definitely try the Frozen Margarita and Hush Puppies. Fish and chips were good but needed a little more seasoning. The burger my wife got was to die for. I’ve been looking for a good burger place after the original location of Christian’s Tailgate closed and I think I found it at the Seafood boat. Again can’t recommend Paul’s enough! Stop in and give it a try.

I decided to surpise my husband by bringing him to this spot on our anniversary since it was one of the places we went to when we initially dated. We hadn’t been there in four years, and when we parked we noticed the curb appeal could have been better. There was a broken restaurant sign on the ground and overgrown weeds. We sat outside the last time we went, so we decided to sit inside this time because it was hot. We were greeted and told to sit anywhere, we ordered margaritas and food. We noticed that the a/c wasn’t working as we were waiting and decided to stay since we already placed our order. We were told that the a/c tech doesn’t service a/c’s on Sundays. We asked for the check when we got our food, and we were not offered anything to entice us to come back to the sweatbox. We were not offered a discount nor any compensation towards the current or future visit for the inconvenience. Sitting outside probably would have been better because we may have gotten a breeze. It’s actually sickening to think about the staff sweating while cooking food and serving drinks to the customers.

Quick drinks and munchies before we went home today. Chips and salsa was good, home made tortilla chip were a pleasant surprise. Not a full bar yet so drinks were limited, but $3 Margaritas were actually good. 5.99 crawfish special today too, didn’t get any but still a good price. It’s an old place but has a nice outside sitting area. We will return… Well until next time signing off Two Peas..

Driving to breakfast today, we were coming up on this place, I had heard it was really good. So as we come up to it, I tell my daughter we need to go check it out, plus it looks neat. Then she reads their sign out front, which let us know that not everyone is welcomed here, the sign was crying over budlight. Going out to eat shouldn’t be political, and everyone should be welcomed. How we got to such a hateful place, I’ll never understand. But I like to spend my money where everyone is welcomed, not just certain people.
