Phenomenal service for lunch. First time here. Quickly seated despite being busy. Delicious chicken & dumplings (waitress recommended). Order taken and food served quickly. Spent almost 2 hours eating and casually enjoying food and conversation without being rushed out, even with a busy lunch crowd. Ate indoors but they have a great outdoor seating area. Will be back!!

Ate here for the first time with a family member. It’s obviously a very popular local restaurant given how crowded it was. The food came in large proportions, the waitstaff was friendly, and the overall experience was great. The only dig I could give it, if I really tried, was how crowded everything was given how close the tables were together. However, that also adds to the whole “homestyle cooking eatery” vibe that the place has, so some people may really enjoy that.

This place makes you feel like you are going home for a cooked meal from mom. The breaded catfish was done very well and the servers make you feel very welcome. I will certainly be coming back to this place.

We are extremely happy that generational restaurants like this are still open and provide great food and service. Wish Paul’s Cafe 100yrs more. The strawberry jam and the strawberry lemonade are the best I have ever tasted anywhere.

Third time I have eaten here. Lunch specials an unbeatable value at 10-12 bucks which include two side, cornbread and today the best peach cobbler ever. Service fast, friendly and efficient. Only open until 2 don’t miss this one!
