Paulie’s Pig Out is a great place to get some BBQ. Good flavor across the board. We got a pulled pork plate with slaw and mac-n-cheese. Delicious. Quality is great. Quantity for price is great. It’s a old time roadside BBQ joint. The only downside is not being able to go inside anymore. It’s definitely a place you should try! Just be careful pulling back out onto the road. Cars move pretty quick through there.

Obsessed with this place. A perfect little bbq spot in a beautiful location! The food was insanely good and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The outdoor space is peaceful and perfect since we had our dog with us.

Excellent pork BBQ. It’s tomato style & I’ve come to prefer the vinegar style but it’s still very good. Large portions. Baked beans were great too. Service was quick. Now, this is not a fancy place. You need to be ok with eating on picnic tables or taking your food to go. They do have a bathroom but it’s very tiny. None of these things bothers me but worth noting if you are the fancier type.

Stopped on my way home from HotRod power tour! And I remembered the looking out at the top of the mountain so I took my food up the hill and ate it there and let’s just say the pictures don’t do the food or the view justice! Both were amazing and man what a combo.

This was the Best Pork BBQ I ever tasted. I am from Texas and very picky about the BBQ I eat. I drove past and couldn’t stop because I was running late driving to South Carolina. However that smell stuck in my head. My next trip I stopped for lunch with my Sister in law. She is also a Texan. We sat on the picnic table and ate our food. We both loved it and said it was worth the 2 1/2 hour drive to eat here and shop the area. We live in West Virginia.The rub is perfection and the way they cook the meat is a tradition that is something you can’t replicate at a Texas Roadhouse.The Mac and Cheese was delicious and how I make it so I was happy. If you drive pass Paulie’s and don’t stop you will be missing the Best BBQ in Virginia. I have stopped twice on my way to SC to visit family. I could drive a different route but this way takes me by Paulie’s Pig Out to get a delicious lunch!!Oh the Banana Pudding is another good choice for dessert. I will be driving back home this weekend and I will be stopping by to pick up a meal to go.

Very cool! Little side of the road barbecue joint. Has outside picnic table. No indoor seating. They smoke the pork and chicken fresh daily. We got the pulled pork and it melts in your mouth. Great flavor.

This place was voted the best barbecue place in Virginia, so we had to try it out. The food and the service were fantastic. The owners need to expand the store to provide inside seating and a larger bathroom.

Smoke flavor was very strong. The ribs and chicken were ok. They didn’t have any brisket which is my favorite. Tater salad was the best we had anywhere. Mac and cheese was too peppery. Enjoyed it but not my favorite bbq joint.
