Everything you could hope for out of a top tier pizza shop. Plastic trays, good vibes, pool table – oh yeah, and next level pizza. 10/10 recommend for dine-in nostalgia or some high quality takeout. Oh, and got to have a great chat with Paulie Gee himself while dining one time too!

Slice was very savory, no sweetness from tomato, perfect toast level for me as I love crispy crust. Good oil level from slice and they have a full bar, probably wont feel disgusting afterwards.

This is a breathe of fresh air for Philadelphia. We desperately needed a slice shop of this caliber. It reminded me of Green Pointe Brooklyn. They recreated the floors, the wood wall paneling, the benches, the red trays. It’s what a slice shop is supposed to be. Love the bar and the pool tables. Even the records and the Atari setup is refreshing. Amazing. Easily my top 3 pizza spots in Philly. It’s only better than Angelo’s because they sell slices too. Just my honest opinion. Love love love the pizza here. Especially the thing slices…. The dough is little, airy and got some chew to it. I could it just the crust all day any day. The hot honey is a great addition to any of the pizzas. I would highly recommend eating in the shop because not only is it a cool spot to chill, the pizza just tastes better fresh fresh. Can’t be beat.

AMAZING. I don’t easily give 5 stars, but this place deserves it. The pizza is phenomenal. I highly recommend the square pizza slices because the crust is incredible. It has sesame seeds on the bottom and is crunchy in just the perfect way. The servers are also so friendly!!! The man behind the counter was very kind and accommodating and answered all our questions since this was our first time. I will strongly suggest this place to anyone in the area. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Philly, especially for only $4 per slice. The vibe is also fantastic!!! You can get drinks and pizza at the same place.

I love this spot usually. Pizza is great. Staff is friendly. But I came in for a quick slice at 6. Seats were all taken except the bar was completely empty. I went to go ask if I could eat my slice at the bar and without even letting me finish the bartender barks show me your ID. I’m 35 and no spring chicken. I go to say I don’t have it I just meant to pop in quick and he’s like you can’t sit here without an ID I explain there is no where else to sit and I’ll be quick and he instructs me to stand or figure it out. With a completely empty bar.

Finally got to a Paulie Gee’s Normally don’t do squares when I get a slice bc once they get in the window for a bit they seem to turn to plywood. But the counter guy said this is what they are known for, so I gave it a try, and glad I did. Excellent! Can’t wait to go back.

Delicious pizza and a mix of old and new school vibe when you’re in there. Has a pool table and a bar to hang out. Beer was good but the pizza was phenomenal. Got the Freddie Prinze Sicilian pie and it was great. The sesame seed crust combine with the high quality sauce made it one of the best pizzas I’ve had. Would strongly recommend.

Paulie Gee’s Soul City Slice Shop or as I will refer it to now as PGSCSS has a great concept. Slices ready to go when you are ready to eat. Stopped in over the weekend when a friend was in town and had many of my wife’s coworkers say we needed to check it out.
