The chips were terrible stale. The refriend beans came out in a patty shape with crispy edges. The rice looked like Spanish rice but did NOT taste like it. The pork was chunky and gross. Some of the worst food I’ve eaten in a restaurant. At least the staff was good. Will not be returning.

I haven’t eaten here for years. But I don’t know why not. Maybe it’s a little off the beaten path. But it’s worth going again if it’s been a while for you too. It is a favorite of the locals. I had the chimichanga with shredded beef. I loved it. The salsa and chips appetizer was delicious.

Great experience! The hostess, Eva, was uncommonly pleasant. And the nachos were delicious! Big enough to share as a meal. Regrettably, didn’t have room for dessert. And it helps that the view from the balcony is stellar.

Staff was prompt on not only seating us but taking our order the food is great 4 stars out of 5 and the restaurant has a decent festive vibe with dimmer lighting than normal. Drinks and food served quickly only didn’t get asked for a refill ever no big deal maybe next time.

If you like cheese, then this is the place for you. There was so much cheese, I couldn’t taste much else. What I could taste, was gross. Refried beans tasted like they came straight out of a can and the rice was undercooked.

I had heard about how great this place was, but I have to disagree. The beans tasted like canned, rice had no flavor and the burrito was soggy. The only thing that they had going for them was the chips and salsa and that’s the reason they got 3 stars. The service was the best part of the whole experience, but we were told not to dirty too many dishes several times while we were dining…..

It’s been 25 years or so since we’ve been to Paula’s, the last time we went to Paula’s we hadn’t yet moved to St. George. This was a fun find. The view is good, the food was good….. Loved the chili relleno….. Yummy. The service was good. Well be back again soon. I wish we hadn’t lost this place for the last 25 years.

We went to Paulas with poor expectation having been disappointed on several occasions. They deserved another chance and we saw great improvement. Salsa could use some improvement. Our food was good and plentiful and it seemed much cleaner.

Our waiter was very kind and attentive. However the food was NOT good. SUPER overpriced for what it is. The beans were dry and so was the meat. All of the employees, minus our waiter, seemed annoyed we were there. Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Loved celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary at Paula’s. We have been here many times, especially for anniversaries (since we don’t eat out much), and it was perfect!!! Thanks for great food, great service and a wonderful evening!!
