The food was excellent and hot and there was a team that made sure that your food got to you and what you asked for was refilled. Those cheddar cheese biscuits were phenomenal. The fish was excellent the tartar sauce also was delicious. They had all the different sauces, hot sauce, pepper sauce, and malt vinegar, the desserts were wonderful. Our waitress Rainy took good care of us. 2 different ladies were not as welcoming at the entry. We had an overall wonderful experience with the exception of some people at our table did not like the broccoli casserole and I think it made me sick, but it was an amazing experience otherwise.

We had a wait of about 30-45 minutes, and it went by quickly. They text you when you’re table is ready, so you can spend time browsing their store or enjoying the outdoors while you wait. Our service was quick and friendly. We were first served cheesy, garlic biscuits which were delicious. They were soft with just enough crispiness. Their potatoes and creamed corn were good. The black eyed peas and Mac n cheese were just okay. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, but the fried pork chop just tasted like fried oil. The peach cobbler was delicious. It was warm, sweet, and the right amount of crispy on top. I’d recommend stopping in for this experience at least once.

Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen delivered an exceptional family-style dining experience! The all-you-can-eat dinner with a choice of two meats and an abundance of sides was a delightful indulgence. The spare ribs were a standout, practically falling off the bone with an irresistible flavor.

The food is absolutely delicious! I got fried chicken, broccoli, mashed potatoes, salad cheddar biscuits, and peach tea with a peach slice on top. Plus the chocolate butter cake. Everything was wonderful. Definitely going back soon!

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. I was disappointed in the mac and cheese, I had to add ketchup. They only give you however many dumplings there are in your group (2 people, 2 dumplings). They were thick and doughy and the chicken was thinly shredded. The fried okra, candied yams, and biscuits were the best part!!! I should have skipped the included dessert, the peach cobbler was soggy.

We visited early on a weekday morning and had no wait for breakfast. Once seated, our server explained the family style menu and provided us with complimentary orange juice and cinnamon rolls. The food was delicious and a great way to start our day.

Decided to visit Paula Dees restaurant while visiting the area. We arrived at a perfect time as greeted and seated immediately. This was the first time at this restaurant and the atmosphere was very nice. The server and all of the staff we interacted with were extremely nice and pleasant. The menu items had a nice variety of offerings, and the pricing was consistent with the restaurants in the area. The food was brought out quickly after we ordered and it tasted ok. I would return for the atmosphere and the service however, I think the food was just ok. This restaurant is a must visit if you’re in the area to experience it at least once.

This was our fourth Paula Dean’s experience and second at this particular restaurant. Compared to our visit here in early 2020, the quality was significantly lower. The removal of the two best menu items (meat loaf and cucumber/tomatoes salad) was a shock. Worse, most items lacked their usual Paula Dean’s seasoning pop of flavor, that taste that makes you think of your childhood. This meal could have been from any random buffet, and I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference….. they honestly could have outsourced their menu to the Golden Corral, and I couldn’t have told you the difference. Massive degrade in quality at a slightly higher price point than three years ago.

Service was lackluster from the host stand on up. Our server acted like she didn’t know anything about the menu or drinks that were being promoted at each table. She told us there were not flavors for the margaritas when the promotion itself said to ask our server about the flavors. We ordered one anyway assuming we would get a lime margarita, but she brought us back a frozen lemonade and then charged us for a piña colada. The food was good and tasty everything was seasoned well, the views were beautiful from our table and the atmosphere was cool enough. Parking is horrible, but there are shuttles.

I hate pork chops. That being said, I ate two of their chicken fried pork chops and they were AMAZING! The slaw was good as well. You could taste the vinegar. Honestly everything we had was delicious. I’m going for breakfast tomorrow morning.
