It was a great atmosphere! Very nostalgic, “down home” feeling. The food was delicious but the coffee and orange juice was bland. The prices were reasonable. The staff was so friendly! I’ve been to restaurants like this before where it feels like if you aren’t regular you weren’t welcome but this place was nothing like that.

For being a first timer I was amazed by the service, the atmosphere and the food. Amazing flavor and pretty good size portions! And the real kicker was the fact that they spared no expense on the toilet paper 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Wish we hadn’t waited so long to try this! Pictured is the country fried steak with sliced potatoes. Some of the best country fried steak I’ve had, very crispy. Our server was wonderful and the food came quickly. Dining area is pretty tight, but I understand trying to maximize the number of tables in limited space.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Columbus on Saturday morning. They were very busy with a full dining room, but you couldn’t tell with the service. It was exceptional. The food was excellent and prices weren’t bad at all for the portions. Will definitely visit here again when we are in the area.

Greeted quickly but waited a long time for our food and then it wasn’t hot. Sausage gravy had no evidence of sausage besides that it was brown. Eggs were cooked as ordered but not hot. My son’s omelette and biscuits tasted good but again food arrived cool. His fried potatoes were a bit undercooked.

Been here a long time but first visit for me. Obviously a favorite of the locals, I was here at 10:30 on a Tuesday and the parking lot and dining areas were packed and buzzing with conversation. So many patrons know the wait staff and the service was prompt, pleasant and the food was real good. They are only open for dinner on Fridays (until 8pm), otherwise breakfast and lunch only. I will most definitely be back.
