I don’t write negative reviews generally but after seeing the reviews I felt truth isn’t being told. So we went to pastries and chat after a tiring day and wanted to have some good food, Bawarchi is our go to place in Englewood area but since they are very busy on weekends we decided to try pastries and chat. We ordered Samosa, Chicken lollipop, Fish Fry, Biryani, Chicken Curry & Naan, Few pastries. I would only recommend pastries and chat, I guess the restaurant named after their best food.

Got paav bhaaji delivered from here. Paav were fresh and crispy, well done. BUT: bhaaji was a heated, ready-meal packet (or may be frozen packet)! That’s quite sad. Would not be returning to the restaurant again, most probably.

Ordered chole bhature and bhature felt like left over bhature fried again and again. Due to the burnt oil the bhature tasted bitter. They were not even round shape and puffed. Felt like dough rolled and cut into triangles, fried and frozen. All they do is fry again when they get the order.

Worst Chaat place I have ever had. Sev Puri with no masala – just Puri. Description says it has chick pea masala in it. But all I could see is just Puri and sev.

I have been to many Indian restaurants in US to have chat. But had the best chat food and puffs in this restaurant so far. The food reminded me of Hyderabad. Each and every item I had is delicious. The price is decent, service and ambience is good. But, this applies only to the vegetarian items. The Non vegetarian items are not good. I had Chicken puff, Chicken 65 and other Non veg items. They need to check the quality of chicken they are using. My stomach felt bad every time after I had the Nonveg items here. So, according to me this hotel is only good for Vegetarian items.
