My first time there, and we ordered basic dishes. We got one order of Ginger vegetable stir-fry and one Vegetable delight stir fry with house sauce. Both were all veg, no meat or tofu. Ordered Jasmine rice with it. A hallmark of a good restaurant is how they do their simple dishes, and these were genuinely excellent. The vegetables were all high quality and fresh, no component was over or under cooked, the sauces were wonderfully flavored and ample, I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed pure veggie dishes this much. Will definitely go again and explore more of the menu.

This place is inconsistent. When it’s good it’s great, when it’s tasteless it’s such a waste of money. Ordered for myself on Wednesday and the food was great, but when I ordered a big order for my family and I all of the plates were tasteless. Seems like workers retaliate if you place a big order. Our order consisted of pad Thais, pad se ew and panang curry, all which were tasteless.

I don’t know what’s changed from when Paste first opened but our more recent meals have been significantly worse than they were months ago. Dishes we used to enjoy are now bland – not only in terms of spice (which you’re no longer asked to specify) but overall flavor. Additionally, the mango prawn salad only included 3 shrimp for ~$20. Really disappointed as we loved Paste when it opened. Hoping things will turn around!

6 months ago, this place was great! Went again last week and the drunken noodle dish was totally flavorless. Mango salad dish was good, but had remarkably few prawns considering the price.

Really delicious. Flavors were fresh, interesting and had nice depth. Reminded me of one of my favorite places in LA. The gentleman that was answering phones was so helpful in graciously guiding me through the different vegan options. I haven’t experienced service like this in a really long time and I can’t wait to go back again and sit down this time.

We loved a couple dishes from when they were Chicken Hawkers so we gave them a try for takeout. We really liked the expanded Thai menu and it’s awesome to have another restaurant on this side of town. We’ll be going back again to try the sit down service.
