We love sitting at the 3rd floor bar. We have been there 2 times and luckily Josh was serving us, he is great and we request him along with the roof top team are the best. You can’t get better than that. The lasagna is the best we ever had with the side salad and bread. Today we are returning and can’t wait. The place is spotless with friendly staff throughout. We have recommended Pastaio to friends.

The food was great. I had a great sangria. Scallops were awesome (and I really don’t even like scallops). But the thing that really took it over the top was the service. Andy made the first time experience GREAT. He was attentive without being overwhelming. He warned about how good the bread was, and warned not to get full on it before the food was served. (I definitely would have because the bread was crazy good). Ask to be seated in Andy’s section.

It’s really hard finding a truly good Italian restaurant in Michigan. Having grown up in NY and having gone to Italy, my standards are really high. But this is it. This is the spot to go to. This place was excellent on a whole different level and the service you get for the prices was amazing. The pasta and bread are all made fresh at Pastaio. You can taste all the flavors as they work together even in their Bolognese sauce and you can tell that they spent hours perfecting it. The meatballs melted in your mouth. I would totally return here!

First visit and had a fantastic experience. Food is yummy (Bolognese sauce and Sunday sauce), and 0014 was a great take on a whiskey sour. Service was attentive and very friendly. Atmosphere was cute.

Went in not knowing what to expect and was delighted. The food is great. Roman style pizza was charred perfectly with a generous amount of toppings. Pasta portion was huge – enough for two or three. Carpaccio was lovely too. Even the chocolate cake was very good. The service was incredibly friendly and very efficient.

My brother had rented out the place upstairs for his engagement on this past Saturday. Really nice location and event was perfect. This location has a bar upstairs where the event patio room is located, I went and purchased drinks for myself and a couple family members, as I went to pay for my tab the bartender CHARGED all the drinks on my card and did not ask anyone to pay and just added everyone to my tab without my permission. The bill was $600 and also added gratuity on my bill as well in which I didn’t notice because how upset I was just trying to get out of there but yet I still left a $50 tip on top of the $90 gratuity. It was so many people there to a point I don’t know who had drinks. Anyone looking for a event space do not go here.. The bartenders should of known to ask everyone for their card and not to use my card for everybody drinks. The worse experience I ever had at a restaurant. Mind you my bill should of been $50 roughly but $600!!

Had a great meal. You meet really interesting people when eating at the bar. Met the owner and his dad. Hardworking family have a lot of respect for them and their success. Meatball appetizers are amazing. They ship their bread in from Jersey. TRULY A GREAT PLACE TO GO!
