Pastabilities has been happily serving guests in Syracuse, New York going on 40 years. Our seasonal menus feature a full range of our homemade pastas, sauces, salads and the famous Stretch Bread from our bakery across the street. We make it all from scratch, and we put our heart and soul into every menu item. Lunch is walk-in only! During dinner service reservations are required for large groups and are optional for groups under seven people. No reservations available? No worries. This place was amazing. The food was amazing, our waitress was great. We had a couple of family members with food allergies and she made sure that we were taken care of and that there wasn’t any food cross contamination.

They have started to take a limited number of reservations and allow you to put your name on a wait-list by phone or internet, but we didn’t want to chance it, so we arrived at 4pm and got a table right away. As 5pm approached, it appeared as though folks who were arriving were considering other options for dinner instead of waiting for a table.

My friends and I came here for dinner at 4 on the dot when they opened as we had a concert to attend and wanted to grab a bite to eat quickly. We got seated right away and we sat for a bit before getting drinks. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and it was good. After we received our appetizer we waited almost an hour for our main courses to come out and we were one of the first ones to be seated when they opened. The entrees we ordered were chicken riggies, chicken Parmesan and the shrimp and scallop scampi. The riggies were delicious and the chicken Parmesan was also very good. The shrimp and scallop scampi was okay but too lemony for my taste and the white wine was almost overpowering. The scallops were overcooked but the shrimp was excellent. Overall, for our first experience it was pretty good but next time I won’t be ordering the scampi and hopefully the wait isn’t so long for the entrees. We will try again in the near future.

First time here didn’t disappoint. Thai chicken was incredible even though we did think it was expensive for 2 small pieces. Husband loved the carbonara he said it was the best pasta he’s ever had! Will be back to try other dishes in the future even though I didn’t like my dish that much(pasta with nuts and broccoli with oil dish). Both our favorites through were the tomato oil and bread!

Thoroughly enjoy our dinner here!! We did not know how famous this restaurant is until that day when we called to make a reservation, we were being put on a 3.5 hours long wait list. Since we were not in a rush, and the live SMS access wait list was very helpful, it was a positive experience despite the long wait. Our wait staff was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The food was very delicious and generous in portion. We love the pasta sauce that we bought some prepared one to take home to Canada!!

I took my daughter for her birthday dinner on a Monday at 530pm. The wait time was 25 minutes or so with a call ahead. The building is under construction and a scaffolding is in front of the building. The ambiance is trendy and is a fun, lively atmosphere. They were packed wall to wall on a Monday evening. Once we were seated our service was excellent. Water, drinks, bread with dipping oils, appetizer,and entrees, and dessert came out in a timely fashion. Server was friendly and efficient. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I ordered the chicken riggies that are in a spicy sauce that I loved, I just wish the dish wasn’t riddled with onions, would have been my favorite chicken riggies otherwise. Bring on the heat! My daughter had manicotti and her BF had bolognese all excellent. Loved the Rose Frose, best frozen drink I have had this season! Calamari is a must order to start your meal. And for the birthday girls dessert S’mores brownie sundae for the win! It was sinful! Definitely a go to for an amazing meal, call ahead!
