We absolutely LOVE this place and usually treat ourselves a few times a month to their amazing Italian Beef sandwich and Fried Mushrooms. The butterflied Shrimp is really good too.

I absolutely adore this hidden gem! By far the best Italian food around! I love Nonna’s Lasagna and my friend loves their chicken parmesan. Every item on the menu is excellent! Up until very recently they offered a nice intimate dining experience. Sadly, they have lost some of there kitchen staff and now do takeout and delivery only. This in no way diminishes their menu. If you know anyone with kitchen experience they could really use some help

Good food is worth the wait!! Passport has the best pizza and pasta in town! I was there that night, Miss Business Skirt, that you claim the lady at the counter was rude to you and didn’t give you your change. Maybe if you would have taken your face out of your phone for more than 2 seconds you would have seen that the change she “stole” from you was right there on the counter in front of you. You were there for a total of 5 minutes.. You would have had to wait 10 minutes more than what she originally told you for your pizza, because you were early for your pickup time. Unbelievable! If you want your food at the drop of a dime, THERE IS FAST FOOD IN BELOIT AND AT THE GROCERY STORE! Passport’s food and customer service is awesome, don’t let this lady fool you!

VERY RUDE and doubled the carryout wait time after arrival! I ordered a pizza and pasta on the drive home. Their pizza is greasy and the pasta is so-so, but we were getting home late that night and I needed a fast meal for the family. I was quoted “25 minutes” for carryout at 6:04 p.m. on a Wednesday. I arrived, with my 3 year old, in about 15 minutes. A young man told me that I would still have a 10 minute wait, which made sense. The dining room was “closed” so we stood by the door. However, there was a large table of people eating there. After five minutes, an older woman (presumably the owner/manager) then came to take my payment. I gave her $21 in cash for the $20.53 bill. She called me by the wrong name, twice, even after I corrected her. Then, another five minutes later, she came back and told me that “they haven’t put your order in yet, so it will be at least another 25 minutes.” I stood staring at her, expecting her to offer us a seat in the dining area, perhaps with some crayons for my child and a beverage or some bread… while we waited FIFTY TOTAL MINUTES for pizza and pasta. She stood mute, staring back. So I handed her the .47 cents in change that I was holding and told her: “We can’t wait, I have a spouse and child at home who are also waiting for their dinner”. She then went back to the register and handed me $20.53. I told her: “I paid you $21.” She pushed the check towards my face and said: “Your bill was $20.53.” I said: “Yes, but I gave you $21. You handed me change, which I then returned to you when I cancelled the order. So you owe me the full $21.” She said: “No, you didn’t give me the change back.” I was FLOORED! I was wearing a business skirt, so the only pockets I had were on my jacket, which I promptly turned inside out to SHOW HER that I did not have the .47 cents. She then relented and gave me the full $21 that I was owed. So after unexpectedly doubling my wait time while I’m standing there with a small child, she was essentially accusing me of stealing .47 cents! Unbelievable! WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
