We have passed by the Steak House many times. We want to support local businesses but we will never eat here again. The only nice thing I can say is that our waiter, Server ID #25, was very nice and attentive. I also felt the seating was very comfortable in the booths. The pricing was fair but the food was not worth the price.

Last Friday (July 25th) I had the pleasure of dining with some friends at Pasadena Steak House. Everyone at our table agreed that our meals were some of the best we had had in a very long time. The seafood was fresh and prepared perfectly, the house salad with the fresh dill was unusual and very refreshing, the soup of the day was a seafood gumbo, and it was delicious. The meal was finished by a complimentary dish of sherbet to cleanse the palate. I would like to add that the cocktails we had were prepared at the bar, not out of a mix, and the prices were very reasonable. I want to mention was that our server, Dave, was informative, cordial, and funny and made our dining experience one to remember with a smile. One of our party had eaten at Pasadena Steak House three years previously and said that it was as good, if not better, as he remembered it. The next time I am in St. Petersburg, I will be returning to Pasadena Steak House. Keep up the good work! And Thank You, Dave!

We ate during the Early Bird specials. Prime Rib was perfect medium. Portuguese Seafood soup was to die for. Salads great and good size. Price was great. Only problem was we didn’t want to order drinks and server showed disappointment. We felt they like to boost bill by serving drinks. But all in all good service.

My wife’s family have been going to the Pasadena Steak House for over 20 year for Thanksgiving lunch, and since I’ve been married to her, I’ve been going for about 5 years now. We have always enjoyed their food and service every single year went. This year, I had the lobster tail, which I’ve never had there before, and knowing that it’s a steak house, I thought to myself, why did I order that? To my surprise, the lobster tail was cooked to perfection and I truly enjoyed it down to the very last bite. I glanced at my father-in-laws plate, who’ve ordered the porter house steak and he too seemed like he enjoyed his meal.

Our dinner there 1/7/2017 was one that will go down in history as one of the very WORST meals EVER… I have never had such a crappy cut of ribey ever in my life.. I have had better steaks at Pofolks… I am not sure if what has happened to this place, but the $98.00 spent on that night, is the very last penny we will ever spend there.

No waiting on a Friday night and here is why…. Very dated atmosphere, dark, dingy, and dirty. There was finger prints in the grease that was on our plates. Salt and pepper shakers were sticky. The candle holder had no candle and had brown sticky stuff all over it. The food was ok but not worth the 50 bucks per person we paid.

Looking for a steak house with dirty floors, lousy service and horrible wait staff? This is it. Had a reservation arrived early was seated and promptly waited for over 15 minutes while wait staff walked by never even acknowledging that we were there. Went to the front of the restaurant and was unable to even get the staff to ask them to get the manager and finally was sworn at by a passing staff member. We then went to the Horse and Jockeyand received great food and great service. Avoid at all costs. A single star is too kind they sucked.

Steaks were great here, the crab legs were nothing special but good as well. I also enjoyed the Cesar dressing on the salad I tried. We only visited once but definitely plan to go again the next time we are in town!

This is just my kind of spot: Busy enough to people watch, but slow enough to walk in and get a table. Carpeting, tufted vinyl booths, dark wood beams in the ceiling.

This review is based on never being seated. We stopped in on a recommendation. We were in need of a venue for a funeral reception. We were presented with a menu, shown the area, and told that although we were unsure if we would have 20 or 40 people – all would be good. We discussed the price for food, drinks, tax and tip. We were informed that if we wanted to proceed call Christo in the morning. I called Christo and he informed me that the menu we were shown and the prices we discussed would NOT be considered. He did not care that plans were made around what was offered. He did not care that this was putting a grieving family in a difficult position. He did not care that catering plans were canceled based on what were were presented 15 hours earlier. I understand that a restaurant needs to make money, but they need to understand that they are in a service industry, and failure to meet your commitments does not go without being told. My sister questioned the recommendation because the parking lot is usually empty – I now see why. I got the impression that Christo was the owner or manager, if he is not – they need to become aware of this. If he is – he deserves to go out of business!
