You walk in and it’s just so comfortable already. They have a variety of seating and an awesome country atmosphere. I walked in and Pa came in from cooking. He was just so incredibly nice! He even gave me a small sample of brisket to take home and share! I had a brisket sandwich that was heavenly. They don’t overload it with sauce because they really want you to taste their high quality pit-master meat and boy was it good! So filling and so tender and it was really reasonably priced. I had the sandwich, drink, chips, (and the free sample!) for $7.50! Anyway, it’s a little gem that’s easy to miss but well worth stopping by! We live close by and expect that we will be stopping by more often!

This place is one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it rural joints that you’ll definitely want to keep your eyes peeled for…. Pa is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and makes obnoxiously delicious food. My husband and I usually order a few things and split them when we try a new place. He ordered brisket and a sausage wrap – both very good, but my bacon cheeseburger special was standout. It was extemely hard to share – Texas toast, 1/3 lb. patty done up to order. This guy is doing everything fresh, and to perfection. Fresh veggies, hand cut fries, hand formed patties, a smoker that sits right next to his kitchen. Not to mention the cute, quaint dining area that he’s obviously building with a vision. He’s even doing kids meals and has some toys and chalk to entertain them. Do yourself a favor, take the back way and grab a bite – you will not be disappointed!
