We stopped by Parthenon Restaurant for a late lunch and the food was great. Let me start by saying upon entering we were greeted by the welcome fragrance of fresh pizza dough and garlic tomato sauce, a deep seeded childhood scent memory that I did not know I was missing. Sophia greeted us at the door, told us to sit anywhere and came to the table for our drink order. Sophia was very helpful when we were ordering and answered all our questions. I ordered the gyro platter and my date ordered the meat and cheese Calzone. Both were unbelievably delicious.

Decided to try this based on reviews. We were not disappointed. We went for the Greek dishes. Preferred the Gyro over the chicken but both were good. We had a great time chatting with Sophia. This is a little gem of a place.

While we moved to this area nearly three years ago, we just recently came across this place and I am sure glad we did. What a wonderful hidden gem that’s been going strong for 40 years! Wonderful couple that makes it a great, quiet, quaint place serving out delicious dishes. I do really look forward to our next visit here. First time was a wonderful experience.

Tried some entrees first time when i went with my husband. Tried their pizza and calzkne yesterday….so very good. Definitely my family’s go to for Mediterranean or pizza. The location is small and a blast from the past but very well kept. The owners are very pleasant and attentive as needed.

40 years and still going strong, this Mom and Pop operation chugs along with various familiar menu that tastes delicious. Today’s 12″ pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms and lunch special of cheese ravioli in tomato sauce and baked cheese (with delicious garlic bread and Greek salad) more than pleased our palate. The owners are so personable and delightful as well as obviously proud of their restaurant.

Tonight we walked from our hotel and enjoyed our first meal at Parthenon Restaurant. The owners were directly involved in running this popular restaurant and personally interacted with customers. My chicken souvlaki was delicious, and I shared part of my partner’s pizza. That also was very flavorful and the Greek olives made a big difference! Sharing half of a baklava desert added a nice finish to this a very special meal!

Everything we ordered was fantastic from the flaming cheese to the pizza and then baklava. It’s family owned and ran. Our server is also the owner and she spoke to you like family. Not to mention she’s got jokes! We definitely will be back. Lived here almost 17 years and I’m sad I just found out about it!! If you go, you won’t be disappointed!

Greek family owned and run. Quaint old style small business with excellent food. Great section from gyros to specials. Chef delivered to table our entrees. Daughter is a server and ownes a bakery next door ordered her Lemon cake it was amazing. Don’t miss this little gem off route 1
