Every time we come to South Padre Island from Houston, we stop at Parras for breakfast on our way out of town. The food is excellent and we always look forward to our visit. I usually order the Posole and three mini Barbacoa Tacos and it never disappoints. The tamales here are also so delicious…we dream about them. They served their food with multiple salsas as well. The prices are very reasonably and they serve you quickly with a smile. We had another great breakfast there today!

Drive thru is quick and easy; the chicken and cheese tamales are the best I’ve had in the RGV. The size, filling, taste is unmatched to anything I’ve tried so far. The cheese and jalapeño are great, but would be awesome if made with beans also. No worries added refried beans on top at home. My new tamale place.

Ordered mini barbacoa taco with cheese and avocado. It was delicious so was the bean and cheese taco. The oatmeal my sis ordered tasted like the oatmeal our mother would make. However, the glass with water was stinky of egg and we had to wipe down the table cause it had a strong odor of pine so cleaner. Would I go back? Yes. Yes I would

My coworkers and I go eat breakfast here at least once a week, but often more than that. The taste is always great, the price is excellent for the amount of food you get and best of all, they have amazing customer service. I always feel comfortable and welcome here after a long night at work.
