I was looking forward to this restaurant all week, and was let down. We ordered pizza a while ago from here, and it was delicious. This time, it was not so good. We ordered a white pizza and a pizza with mushrooms. I used to work at a pizza shop for years when I was in college, and may be a bit more judgmental than others. The cheese was more dark than it should have been (see pictures). You can barely tell one of the pizzas was a white pizza because the cheese was so dark. The other pizza was not as bad, but only the four middle pieces were enjoyable. The pizza was edible, but was too dry and the cheese did not have any moisture left in it. For an appetizer we ordered the pretzel loaves. They are basically pretzel bread sticks with the salt on them. There were three to order, and was not that bad of a deal. The dining room is congested, so I recommend eating outside on the patio especially in the evening, The patio is on the east side of the building, so there is barely any sun in your eyes. Our waitress was awesome, and was really friendly to our child.

We got take out and got “nick’s fish special and only got one small piece of fish. Fb page shows 3 big pieces. Also very little coleslaw as well. Very disappointed. We’ve had it at the restaurant and it was too much fish to eat alone. Very disappointed tonight with takeout.

Monday evening is “cheap spaghetti night.” For one price, you get delicious salad, bread, and spaghetti. The price may have gone up a little, but I can’t say for sure. It’s still a very good deal in my opinion.

So we had to call an audible for my birthday dinner. Italian is not my favorite but I enjoy it. Overall I was very happy with the food and service. Wedding soup was good, salad was on point bread was super soft. The cheese sticks were also great. My gnocchi was decent but the meatball that came with it was nothing short of delicious. My partner had spaghetti and meatballs and loved it. I ordered 5 more meatballs to go! Overall a 5 star for service and quality of food, even if I didn’t love the gnocchi as much as the meatballs.

I’ve eaten pizza at Parkwood Inn for decades (I’m 64 YOA) and after yesterday’s experience with their pizza in all likelihood won’t make a point to eat there during my next visit to GBG. The dough wasn’t the same in flavor or consistency and our white pizza was almost indistinguishable from the pepperoni pizza.

Have dined at the ‘Parkwood’ on numerous occasions. I typically order the Chef Salad as they serve a generous portion at a somewhat reasonable price. Decided to grab a late dinner yesterday and the Easter ‘special’ was a Cajun steak chef salad for $17.00. When the order came to the table the meat was COLD! I ask the waiter why and was told the salad sits on top of cold lettuce while waiting to be picked up and delivered to the dining table. Hint! Separate the meat and keep it under a heat lamp until ready to be served. Additionally I ask for extra napkins which never appeared and was not ask if I wanted a refill of my drink. When the bill was presented I expected the drinks to be credited for the COLD steak cuts but I was wrong!! I’ve had the steak salad at the Parkwood in the past and the meat was hot as it should be but this time I got a flimsy excuse and a pricey bill. I may or may not go back and this review serves to notify the management of my dissatisfaction. I care less what anyone else thinks of my review especially those wanna be ‘Elites’ who leech off others to dine at some high priced eatery so they can brag on Facebook about how ‘special’ they are.

Stopped in for a lunch with friends. Picked this place from a map as we weren’t in familiar territory. We had an amazing server who was so helpful with our questions. She was kind and patient with us.

We ordered a few of the dinners, chicken park and gnocchi and the portions were so small. To spend money on this was a joke. Do yourself a favor you will be put on a diet eating here. Food is way over priced for what you get. Stay away as we will never eat there again.
