So damn delicious! Glad I took Google reviews to heart, and avoided the usual tourist or chain eateries to try the Parkside. Our handsome server was great. Perfectly attentive and welcoming – when we admitted we were first-timers he said “not anymore!” 🙂 The burger I ordered was hot and flavorful, the fries were cooked perfectly, and the Yuengling draft was icy cold. With fair pricing, tasty food, and good service, there’s nothing more to ask for. We’ll happily return when in town next.

Used to be an old favorite. Was aware of new ownership. Menu changed, not surprising, but removed some awesome favorites ( Rueben’s, BLTs and Cobb Salad to name a few) and made the menu very small and limited. Disappointing. Ordered chicken ranch wrap… menu listed grillled chicken. Chicken was not grilled, dried up and gross. Reported the sue to the waiter and he said, “sorry about that but he could do nothing for me”. What?!! I’m not argumentative, so I said I understood… but really upsets me that they’re okay with serving gross food and said that he was unable to make it right. Well, not again. You guys are on your way of ruining a place known as a great “dive” bar. Hope you’re happy. Can’t and won’t recommend.

It’s the best kind of dive bar. It sits on a noisy corner right next to Hershey Park. Keep your expectations in check, and you will have an enjoyable meal. Parking isn’t great.

Chili was excellent, cheeseburgers good. Did not have either shrimp basket, or nice fish sandwich. A shame. The Funcks should know better than change success. A very nice neighborhood bar.

Prompt and friendly service. Nice selection of specials. Food decent. Bathroom could use a deep cleaning and smelled of cigarette smoke. Difficult seating for parties over 5. Small place. Small outside seating area we would have sat at, but smokers gather there.

“We won’t change the menu….” I’ve seen in over five publications. So, I craved a BLT alllll day and guess what? Options are wraps, sub or kaiser rolls. “We don’t have white bread.” Okay,.. tried and true, I ask for a reuben “sorry, it’s actually the first thing that came OFF the menu. We’re on our third version of menus now.”
