Drove an hour to Parker’s in Nebraska City from Omaha. Did not realize they had closer (even in Omaha) as it was our first time and was looking for good BBQ. Wife is every so picky about her BBQ being from Texas. She loved the place. I think her and my daughter shared one of the big feasts to taste a little of everything they had. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Cornbread was an instant favorite. Sausage was spot on to wife’s taste. I think my daughter loved the brisket. My Chicken Fried Steak was perfect beyond belief. I have been searching for a place that does the breading crispy enough to withstand gravy soaking in while I eat it. Was not disappointed even to the last bite. Waiter was a bit stiff, but as stated in other posts, they employ high school students. With a bit of learning, he will get better. Great experience given the circumstances.

Seated our family of five right away with attentive service. Considerate information regarding menu items with food allergy concerns. Beef brisket was well done, moist, and flavorful. Ribs tender with good structure, a little bite, nice range of sauces for dipping. Plenty of sides, coleslaw, beans, chili, cornbread, potatoes lots of different ways, baked apples, etc. Enjoy!

Food was wonderful. Had the Cajun Chicken Salad with ranch and original BBQ sauce. Corn muffin were delicious. Sampled the ribs, brisket, and catfish and they were fantastic as well. Nice little find in Nebraska City, NE.

It was nice inside and out with history of the town it resides in. The staff was polite right off the bat, but as a old food service person, they seem to gossip and laugh took much near the beverage station and cash register in the font of the house. It is bad form. other than that the waitress was spot on with the refill and chatted up customers.

My husband and I are from Tennessee and, as such, are quite the BBQ connoisseurs. While overnighting in Nebraska City, we decided to give these guys a run and see if they could really do pulled pork justice, and I’m proud to say they can. They even have sweet tea! Don’t miss the apple cobber if you give them a try. It’s actually more of a “crumble,” but it’s still great.

Amazing barbecue! Were at a 3 day conference and ate here every day. Great prices, great sauce, and great service. They also had sweet tea, which helps this Missouri guy feel at home!

This is a tasty barbecue place. The chopped pork and ribs were smoked to perfection. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and was mightily satisfied. I haven’t even mentioned their addicting corn muffins.
