Happened to be in Nuuanu and found a gem of a poke restaurant! Honestly I had a difficult time trying to figure out what I should try since I read online that the garlic noodles were great, but they had so many poke options… so I went with their special Tataki Bowl! It took a bit of time to make but it was delicious! I’m not an onion person but I ended up eating it all! Their rice was high quality as well. Staff there were SO friendly and nice that this place is highly recommended. Check it out if you can!

This was the best poke I have had in my life but keep in mind I live in utah so while we have some options maybe they aren’t the best.

Absolutely one of the best poke bowls I’ve ever had. Everything fresh. Great portions. And the truffle ponzu salmon is a must. Friendly staff

Poke shops are a dime a dozen in Hawaii, but Paradise Poke is worth a review. They have a modest selection of poke styles, but I give them credit for having an original – truffle salmon yuzu poke. It’s delicious! I also tried the eggplant tofu which is the perfect balance of spicy and sweet.

The poke was pricey, but worth EVERY penny! Killer flavors!! Our first trip we ordered the Hawaiian poke bowl to “sample” when we returned to our car. We were “bowled” over by the symphony of textures and flavor! The crunch of the bubu arare with the fresh butter-like fresh quality of the ahi was amazing! We practically inhaled it– and then went right back to buy MORE! Onoliscious!!!

Compared to the San Francisco Bay area, The portion size was so small that my wife and I had to go to the nearby McDonald’s to pick up some burgers. The fish was fresh, but the bowl was super small and almost no toppings except some picked cucumber and a springle of seaweed. We went in with a lot of enthusiasm, 20minutes later, we left with sadness in our heart! 🙁

Poke bowl place in the Nuuanu area that also serves plates, snacks, and musubi. Friendly staff, daily specials, quick service. Be sure to go early if you want to try some of their specialty poke flavors as they tend to have limited amounts.
