I had a taste for Jamaican food and Paradise did not disappoint. I had the escovitch fish, cabbage and sweet plantains. The fish was crispy and well seasoned, the veggies were crisp and spicy. The plantains were well done and the cabbage was delicious. I couldn’t leave without a piece of coco bread and it was piping hot and sweet perfection My only disappointment was that there no tables for seating just two.small counters. I will definitely be back.

The Oxtail was great !! As always, not to mention the JERK PORK , JERK CHICKEN , CURRY SHRIMP, JERK SALMON… everything is just delicious!!! The customer service is great!! Even when some customers or being rude & don’t have patience ..!! Most go!!

I ordered oxtails large with roti and collard greens. The portion was good. The oxtails were cooked well they were very soft, but they were very salty. The collar greens were good. Everything was just ok. Not worth the price though it felt like a waste of well cooked oxtail because it was so salty. Not what I was expecting. I don’t like leaving poor reviews but I felt like I had to because it’s very pricey and things are very expensive nowadays to spend over $20 for a meal that is not seasoned properly. Wouldn’t order again.

Im normally a regular but yesterday the jerk chicken was a platter full of bones and over cooked to were it was dry. I wish i would check my platter before i left. The mac cheese was excellent the rice was dry and the chicken was so so disappointing

Price went up to 6.95 for the mac and cheese and this all they gave me. The price shouldn’t go up and the quantity go down. This isn’t the first time this happened as well. This was on 9/23/2022. It was a good ride but imma have to get off now. Good luck to your business.

Was really looking forward to try this place, but the person on under phone was so rude and ignorant that I just hung up, she didn’t even have the time to day to hold the phone to get mouth or talk clearly, then was annoyed when I asked what the sides were. I’m sure the food is great, but whoever answers the phone seems to have better things to do then take an order

I ordered three oxtail dinner. Two medium priced at $19 each and one large at $22 and extra size which I believe was maybe $2 a piece so I had three extra sides. The service was okay the young lady taking the orders.but the food is awful there was hardly no oxtails in the the meal’s for large oxtail they were very small pieces and one large piece on the dinner, it was more rice and beans than anything and on the medium serving there was hardly there was more oxtails. Very small pieces. on the service than it was on a large but we pay $85.00. that’s a lot of money for tasteless. but the point of the matter is when you paying for a good meal you would expect a good portion and. I understand oxtails are very expensive there this place is located in Pennsylvania there is a few places in Trenton they on Maple avenue All Stars they’re oxtail Meal is delicious ,bamboo on Chambers Street the oxtail Meal is delicious lighthouse on olden avenue the oxtail Meal are delicious first time going to this particular place I will never visit it again maybe the cook is a poor cook and the food wasn’t tasty at all

I always order the curry goat here and the last time I got my food (this past week) it was very good. They give a lot of meat and it’s not full of bones or fat. The meat is always on point but previously the rice was flavorless. This time, the rice and cabbage were seasoned nicely. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for Jamaican food.

I would just like to say, the food here is excellent. I’m a consultant traveling from state to state and this is one of the best Jamaican restaurants I’ve run into over the years. Everything is seasoned well and authentic. I recently had the red snapper, It was tender and delicious. It was so good that I bought two extra meals to bring back to my hotel. This is a takeout restaurant, so I recommend you call ahead. I highly recommend “Paradise Jamaica” restaurant, and a shot out to Jackie and the crew for their excellence.
