This is my new favorite restaurant in Scottsboro. Excellent service. The smashburger was phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and had that slight crunch on the outside. Handcut fries are the perfect addition. The extreme milkshake is on another level. Well crafted and bursting with flavor.

The hot food was great and I suggest you go try it but the milk shake was VERY disappointing. It looked pretty but the cake tasted freezer burnt and the shake tasted nothing like what we ordered. It just tasted like vanilla ice cream. ♀️ nothing special. We will come back.

My husband and I visited this cute little restaurant yesterday. We just happened to find it, and what an amazing find.!! The place is owned by Andrea and her husband “Pappy”- such nice folks! The food was super flavorful, presented nicely, and you can tell it’s made with lots of love. Best pulled pork sandwich Ive ever had! We also enjoyed the banana split with homemade ice cream WOOOW!!! Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back…. Yes, we’ll make the 1 hr drive just to come here- it’s that good.

Tried Pappy’s today for the first time. Delicious!! Grilled chicken was tender, juicy, and seasoned well! Mac n cheese was also really good. Desserts were phenomenal. Will definitely be back to try something else!

We were going to another close-by burger place but they were closed so I did a google search for Scottsboro burger and found this place very close and decided to try it out. This AMAZING family run diner next to the railroad tracks is so Delicious !!!! I had the smash burger best I’ve ever had. I did not have room for dessert but they looked incredible. Fancy hand crafted specialty shakes!!!!!! I’ll be going back to have dessert FIRST lol!!! Did I mention the family that owns it is simply the nicest folks you’ll meet. I highly recommend Pappy’s Place!!!!!

First Timers! We enjoyed everything about this place. Angela is such a nice person. Her husband Chris is an amazing cook. We felt right at home like we were regulars. I had the Jalapeño burger (super spicey) wish I would have gone with the bacon cheeseburger. My husband had to finish it lol. I also had onion rings. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and sweet potato spiral crisps. For dessert, we ordered a strawberry cheesecake special milkshake and banana split. We can’t wait to eat here again!
