This place is on the expensive side but it’s worth it for good seafood. If you want a no filler crabcake this is where you’ll find it. The clam strips and fish and chips are good too. Shrimp was okay but needed more seasoning imo. Overall I’d definitely recommend this spot for a quick meal. Every Wednesday the food is 50% off if you are a senior w a mgm rewards card.

A no filler, delicious, crab cake of ample size is great. Plentiful fries and side salad (and oddly, also cole slaw) are good but merely supporting actors. Staff is helpful, patient, and efficient. Senior half price Wednesday specials make for a nice bonus. Delightful meal that is fun.

We got the fish and chips and shrimp with fries and one bottle of water and it cost almost $50. The shrimp was not bad but not great. The fish was not good at all and had no flavor. The fries were soggy almost like they weren’t fully cooked. The staff was nice though.

This place is NOT by any means budget friendly, however, it is to be expected when you visit the MGM! I paid $34 for one plate. I ordered the Crab Cake plate and the waiter asked if I’d like to upgrade the fries to the crab fries (my initial thought), so I said of course. We waited about 5 mins for our food and we ate it there. EVERYTHING was delicious! The sauce on the crab fries was the runner star of the plate standing next to the amazingly tasting crab ball! I’d definitely eat there again, as long as I’m winning at the black jack table! Side note, the fries were hot and the sauce was warm but, the crab meat was definitely cold, that kinda threw me off but it was still good!

This place doesn’t seem like it would have the best crabcakes a native Marylander could get, but it’s surprisingly true.

Every Wednesday you know it’s 50/50 and yet the customer service is poor and the manager doesn’t care. They never seem to have enough staff on this day that they promote for seniors.

One of my favorite crab cake spots without all the fuss. I’m never disappointed when I stop by here on the way to my home in Accokeek Md. as you can see all crab cake, this is the 8oz version.

I came and saw 3 people working here. Two people working the front and the cook in the back. This has been going on for some time but clearly everyone needs a job. Ms. Marva had a super pleasant smile and demeanor that kept ppl standing in line. She should be getting paid $30/hour. I don’t know how these women did it with grace, but mgm or papas crab cake owners should be ashamed of themselves for not stepping u to the plate on their establishment.
