I went here a couple times and this is the third time. Had the smothered chicken and it was great. A lot of food, so worth it for the $17. Mine was smothered chicken+ fries + loaded potato salad. We also had the loaded Nachos as an appetizer. It could have been a bit better, since the nachos were just kind of ordinary. Cheese was slightly too think for me. Still a good value restaurant though.

The buffalo chicken salad (with blackened chicken) was super delicious! The quesadilla and euro are also great as well. The service is always very fast, even when they are busy so you can go here on a lunch break. Also, the role that came with the salad it was super super soft and delicious.

We went in for dinner around 7:00. They were surprisingly busy. Almost every table was full but we found two seats at the bar. I ordered the fish and chips and my wife ordered the breaded tenderloin. The fish was super hot right from the fryer, as were the fries. The fries were crispy on the outside and still soft inside. The fish had a cornmeal breading that was fantastically seasoned. I honestly can’t remember having better fried fish anywhere in central Indiana and I order it pretty much anywhere that has it on the menu. The coleslaw was creamy and slightly sweet. My wife enjoyed the tenderloin as well. The service was harried but they did their best. A great local spot for pub food.

Service was friendly and the best thing about the experience. Over priced chips that taste like you’re at the little league concession stand. Nacho cheese pumped from a heated can that had gone cold with bagged lettuce and cold chicken. If it were not for the friendly service it would be a Zero Star.

This was the first time I had eaten at Papa’s Grill. We were traveling and wanting something locally owned. It was busy, which is usually a good sign. The server was very helpful as we ordered and attentive throughout the meal without being irritatingly so. I had a fish sandwich with onion rings and slaw. The portion size was very generous. The rings and slaw were really good. The fish was overdressed and a little overcooked. My friend had the gyro; it was also a very generous portion and looked really good. It was noisy due to a brisk business and the basic decor.

Stopped on a road trip here to have a quick bite. Ordered the burger and bison burger. Both were cooked perfectly but could of used a bit more seasoning. Fries were hot and fresh but the ranch! AWESOME….the thick good kind…if you know you know!
