I recently moved to the area and have been trying out several smaller non-chain locally owned restaurants. I was disappointed to say the least. I drove up to the drive-thru window today at close to 3pm and there were little to no cars outside, so they weren’t busy, and I was the only car in the drive-thru. I look at the menu as I have not been there before and then pull up to the window. It takes a good five minutes for someone to come up to the window and when they did finally arrive, the young gentlemen gave off the energy that it was a problem that I was there, like it was a hassle to take my order. We ordered a 20-piece tender with fried okra and macaroni and cheese and take it home. When we get home I am surprised that the chicken tenders are big, not tiny, but that surprise was quickly turned to disgust as I bit in to one, the chicken was dry, like it had been sitting out quite a bit and was roughly room temperature, this had not been cooked or left under a heat lamp for long. The fried okra also suffered from the same effect, like it had been cooked and saved for a while, but worst of all was the mac and cheese. The noodles had been cooked for way too long and were very mushy. I was not very happy with my experience and I doubt I will return. However, I have been to quite a few other places around here and have been impressed. This place, on the other hand, I wish them luck, but I feel they made two mistakes. They turned on the lights and opened their doors.

Good cheeseburger. Good size. 5-6 inch and reasonably sized beef pattie that Covers bun size adequately. Could be thicker patty but equivelant to what ” used to be” a regular burger at that ‘sounds like sound place but ick now’. Fresh veggies: Lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Not into sliced dill pickles myself so tossed. Real mayo. Mustard option is default- assumed.

Food has always been good. The fried chicken and tenders are great. Plenty of sides to choose from. The service can be a little hit and miss depending on when you go. Sometime they are very friendly and sometimes they just take your order.

Great little country, Cafe, with buffet/cafeteria style. I went to try their liver and onions, but they only serve it on Friday. I had Catfish instead, with two sides. The staff was very friendly, and wrote out a list of their daily specials. I will go back.
