Best Mexican restaurant in Mauldin! Authentic, delicious and well priced. The portion sizes are huge. The service is fast and friendly. They start you out with complimentary chips, a fresh salsa bar and a warm bean dip. The chips were amazing, freshly made and still warm with just the right amount of salt. I ordered the Shrimp enchilada with beans and rice and it was fantastic and more than I could eat. Highly recommend!

Food was ok. Great portions for the price but flavor was nothing special. Kitchen was a swamp and the wait staff tracked water across the already slick floor. Atmosphere was all over the place and again nothing special. Burrito challenge was just WOW.

We have been to 3 of the Papas & Beer locations. All of them are great food for the price. The camarones a la diabla is my favorite since I love spicy. Honestly have not had one bad dish from these restaurants. Staff is always friendly and the salsa bar helps add a kick to the dishes if you need it. I recommend the habanero salsa!

We enjoy Papa’s & Beer generally once a week or more, and it is always great! The grandbabies are 2, and they’ve been enjoying their visits since the girls were pregnant. The salsa bar is a definite selling point.
