This was a mid night stumble across Mom & pops joint in Fountain Square. The place was empty when we entered. What seemed to be a woman and her daughter were frantically working on an iPad and a computer register, I guess trying to figure things out. We were not even slightly acknowledged until maybe a minute or so after standing in front of the counter. I asked if we could dine in, to which the reply was yes. We seated ourselves at a table. There was no menu and obviously no waitress or waiter service. I had to get a menu from another table. Then I had to go to the counter again to place my order. Long story short, the customer service was non existent. To me this makes or breaks an establishment. They can have long wait times and mediocre food and drinks, and if the customer service is great….yep they’ll receive a 5 ⭐️from me every time. The food industry is a RELATIONSHIP based industry. How you make people feel when they come to spend their hard earned money with YOU. (We felt unwelcome!) THE ONLY REASON I’m giving this a 3 ⭐️ is because the food was hot, definitely freshly made, and uniquely flavored. I’m out✌

The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE. Ordered boneless chicken and got bone in chicken, was hung up on twice and told they would not fix the order. This is the umpteenth chance given and we’re done giving our money to people who don’t even value customers. No respect at all and no manners. Seriously the worst place now that whoever has taken over this restaurant. Your behavior lost loyal customers.

I ordered online. I got two lunch specials and an order of cheese bread with ranch. The cheese bread is very bland and the crust was extremely hard. I did not receive the ranch sauce that I paid for nor did the lunch specials have the “included” fries or the drinks. Definitely will never return. Not worth the money. I was on lunch break at work and could not go back to retrieve the rest of my items.

The order arrived timely, the driver was courteous, but the pizza toppings were totally wrong. Called, asked for refund for pizza (only) because it was getting so late, I didn’t want to wait on replacement pizza. I was told no refund unless paid in cash (how to you pay cash when you order online). The woman on the phone could not have been more rude, and in one of my numerous calls trying to resolve the issue, she literally hung up on me. We keep trying this place, but each time, the experience is worse and worse. We will NEVER be back…..except I am taking their wrong pizza to the store, and am going to DEMAND a refund on it. FYI, this is the first time I have ever slammed anyplace with a bad review (I always just let it go), but how I was treated was over the top rude and totally unacceptable.

So far it’s been good I mostly get pickup. Favorites are the calzone and the first time I had their pizza was not a fan it was overcooked to my liking but they have options to modify that. Light bake on pizza is perfect. Light bake on calzones leaves raw dough in middle so you need to play around with it a bit to find your perfect order.

sad to say this is the worst pizza and garlic sticks i have ever had in indy. seriously, i think chuck e. cheese would serve you better. have you ever had chewy pizza crust? tastes like one of those individual low calorie pizzas from the freezer aisle after you microwave it.

Decided to ignore the negative reviews due to the amazing positive reviews. Never again. An insanely small amount of mushrooms for $7. Pizza was mediocre at best. Crust was good but was lacking toppings and had barely any sauce. 2 stars only because the garlic bread was decent. We live local and were hoping to find a new local go to. Very very disappointed with the food.

Its ok .. nothing to write home to Mom about.. i personally thought it’s a little high priced for what it is.. you only get plastic eating utensils (for me thats an issue due to no teeth) looks wise.. good… Taste was ‘ok”.. oh and not to mention no AC… Had it been hotter eating would have been miserable! And the garlic cheese bread is nothing more than a cheese pizza!

On 10/11/2022. I ordered chicken fingers from Papa Rays, thru Slice delivery, and when I received my food, my chicken fingers were completely burnt, and inedible. When I contacted Papa Rays, they refused to make fresh chicken tenders or offer me a replacement entree. In addition, the cook, the staff, the manager, or staff who put the food in my container for delivery could easily see that my food was clearly burnt , hard, and not fit for human consumption. I contacted them, and I was clearly Irate, and they said they would do nothing, and to call Slice to get my money back. Slice refunded my money. Will not patronize this business again.
