So funny thing when I was a little girl Mr. Lee’s family and my family were neighbors for years. I love their family so much. They are so sweet. I got a vegan burger with fried okra and a water (trying to watch the figure). My dad got a cheeseburger, fried okra, and a chicken taco, and a sunkist orange soda. It was really good. My vegan burger I request it to be in a lettuce wrap and that’s just what i got. They service is great and it’s so clean and and smells good. Great service. I’m going there again for the mango habanero wings and some fries. Food is great, service is great. Sorry I don’t have pictures. I tore my food up before I could.

This place is nice! Was immediately greeted by Lee and his wonderful wife, Velvet! Manager on duty, Jameshia, was amazing and very nice when taking our order. She was sure to get it right! My mother had the Tarheel Burger and I had the chicken taco. She loved it and I loved my taco so good, I HAD to go back to get another one! Lee used to be my manager at an old job and he is truly wonderful!

My boyfriend and I decided to try out this new spot in our community today. When we entered we were not greeted. I spoke to the cashier and said hi, how are you and didn’t get a response. She wasn’t rude but not friendly or personable at all. We ordered the Papa’s Double cheeseburger with no tomato. They left the tomato on it but no biggie. The chili on the burger was REALLY GOOD! The burger had a great chargrilled taste and was huge. We would definitely order it again. We ordered a side of fried okra which was also good. Now for the wings, we ordered a 4 pc Mango Habenero, the sauce was really good BUT they almost tasted baked to us, definitely were not fried enough for me, kind of fatty. Also, a big NO NO for me is the mis shaped wings, the ones that look funny, not sure how else to describe them but two of our wings were that way. That completely turns me off of a wing. I don’t believe I would order them again unfortunately. I feel like those shouldn’t have been served. One last thing, the ranch is horrible. You can just tell by looking at it, it tasted just as it looked. We will definitely try them again though, we want this establishment to thrive here. We understand they just opened and may take some time to get things A+ so we look forward to returning.

The food is amazing. Papa Lee’s give Chars, The Peanut House & Hot Dog City a run for their money. The most expensive meal on the menu cost $10.71 AFTER TAXES! I’m so glad I’ve discovered this place; Papa Lee’s is the new go-to for me.

My mother spent $36 on food and none of it was good. The chicken tenders were extremely soggy and greasy, the chicken sandwich had bad lettuce & tasted very weird, the burger was very soggy, the bread was full of sesame seeds & tasted horrible the meat tasted fake ! The hot dog was very sloppy & tasted nasty, even the tea tasted funny !
