Here’s one extra cheese will get you on a Papa John’s pizza off of Wilcox in Castlerock. I can see the crust of my pizza and I call the store and nobody answers twice. Go to the pizza place next to the old church Italian place in downtown Castle Rock that’s the best pizza.

I called them at 5 pm to have my pizza done at 6pm I showed up at 6 after working all day nobody said a word to me for about 15 minutes. Finally talked to someone and my order still wasn’t ready. I waited another 15 minutes without getting my order and finally walked out. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!!!! I suggest you don’t either. If I could give no stars I would.

It’s really hard working here. Especially right now. We do not have enough employees, especially drivers. It is so stressful to drive like an insane person to deliver 3 pizzas in 30mins just to get back and see at least 10 orders already 90mins late(picture below).

Ordered a pizza thru the app and it said 30-40 mins and it’s almost been 2 hours and it’s not even out for delivery. Called customer service they patched me thru to the store twice and no one picked up the phone. This is the last time I will purchase from Papa John’s.

This location is hands down the worst. This is the second time we have ordered and waited over 1.5 hours to get a pizza that was quoted 30-40 mins. The first time we called it was 2 hrs and 10 min and the phones didn’t work. When I went in to get the pizza there were stacks of pizza sitting there easily 50-60 pizzas waiting to be delivered. After waiting a few months we decided to try again and got a 33 min estimated delivery time. At an hour we decided to call and they said it was being boxed and to give them 15 min. After 20 min we called again and they said the driver was on their way and one stop before us and to give them 10 min. When we told them this was unacceptable and that’s what they basically said 20 min ago a female got on the phone and was verbally aggressive and rude and wanted to complain that she was off the clock and wouldn’t answer any questions and began lying about the fact that we were given an option the last time we called for them to deliver the pizza or door dash which never happened and lied that they told us it would be 2 hours and just wanted to argue. She then Proceeded to hand the phone to the poor door dash guy who wasn’t even sure who he walking to. When my husband came up to get the pizza he was told the pizza was just coming out of the over at 1.5 hours now. When we got the pizza home it was cold! Why are you selling our orders to door dash and increasing the cost without our permission and staff verbally abusive and not fulfill orders?!?

Manager is extremely rude and hostile. Two hours after ordering for delivery we called to see what was going on as it was getting late and we knew that soon the store front would be closed. When we called we were told that they were so short staffed that they were using DoorDash to deliver for them and they had accidentally given our order to the wrong DoorDash driver. They told us that we would have to go to DoorDash for our refund, but they weren’t certain on how exactly we should go about doing that. A short while after getting off the phone with Papa Johns we discovered cold pizza on our front porch, but no sign of the two liter of soda we had also paid for. At about this time we received another call from Papa Johns, this time it was from someone claiming to be the manager. We told her that the pizza had actually showed up, but was left on our front porch and now cold. She claimed that it was our fault as the DoorDash instructions were for a no contact delivery. We tried to informed that we didn’t order through DoorDash and had no idea that they were using DoorDash due to their short staff situation. She became very rude and hostile, trying to blame us for the situation. When we tried to speak she would simply speak louder and attempt to over talk us. When told her that she was not taking responsibility for the situation she hung up on us. Not satisfied with this I called her back and she began screaming saying that she was going to refund us, but since we pushed back she wasn’t going to do so. She hung up on us again. Guess paying $60 for two pizzas and a two liter at the Castle Rock Papa Johns really only gets you two cold pizzas after 2.5 hours and no two liter with an absolutely idiotic call from their store manager.

My review is about a delivery order. When I placed my order with the app it charged me twice and the delivery person left two orders at the door. When I brought them in I tried to call directly about the mistake. If you call there no one answers and when you select the managers ext it goes to voicemail and they never call you back. Corporate says they will contact them and have them call you but they never do. Two weeks later I went to the store and the manager issued me a credit. I spent no at least a hour and a half on the phone with no results. This is a corporate review they should have handled this from the beginning.
