we ordered 30 dollars of food around 6 got double charged, and then got our order cancelled with no notice at 7:45 after the delivery guy said we “didnt pick up the phone” when we did answer and confirmed the address, worst customer service ive ever had.

I came in for a pickup with Uber eats, and I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before the lady greeted me. Idk if he was hard of hearing because the door is hard or hearing but I just came from a place where the moment I came in the store they greeted me and serviced me immediately, told me what was going on.

I don’t eat here I only come to pick up orders. The staff are decent and the environment is okay. I did notice their sticker is outdated from 2022. Either they forgot to update it our the restaurant is not up to code.

We ordered our pizza and it never arrived, multiple calls to the store later, we find out they outsourced the delivery to door dash, instead of giving us another pizza, we were told we had to take it up with door dash… we never got the pizza.

Pizza tasted like disappointment and shattered dreams… Tried giving this location another shot after avoiding it for 2 years because it was so bad the last time. The “large” was the size of a medium anywhere else. I ordered extra sauce but there was hardly any sauce on the pizza (or toppings for that matter) and somehow there were 2 slices with no sauce at all (one slice had almost nothing on it minus a couple pieces of accidental cheese). I’ve never seen that before… And to top it off, the garlic sauce, which was the one thing that could have possibly made the pizza a tiny bit enjoyable, was open and leaked all over the box… Do yourself a favor and do not eat here, unless you hate yourself…

Leaving another 1 star review since my last was removed. 6 open garlic butter cups were thrown on top of my $25 pizza that was burnt black on the bottom. No telling how long the garlic sat open in the store. The garlic soaked through the box and into my car. The manager said they credited my account but did not and I never received a response after that. That was the first and only time I’ll order from this location. I’ve loved every other Papa John’s I’ve ordered from. Remember to open your pizza before you leave, though you’ll be waiting an additional hour for a correction if needed.

We waited 87 minutes for a bad pizza experience. See the pictures of their advertise pizza, the see what I got after 87 minuts. If, you are going to take that long at least take your time to make it right, and place the ingredients right. It’s a pizza not rocket science.

I use to order from here 2-3 times a month. My last order was in March so I thought I’d given them a try again. I order the nearly the same with extra cheese . Frozen pizza from the grocery store has more cheese on it as you can see in this photo. After waiting a good 40 minutes, the pizza with extra cheese in the photo shows up. I guess I should have looked at the online reviews as this store is now down to 3.5 stars. The variance in quality ranges from poor to average. That must be the quality of the management. Too bad, I sue to love Papa Johns.

Had similar bad experience as the majority of the other reviews. I was visiting KC from out of town. I ordered pizza from Papa Johns because I wanted to try the new pepperoni and cheese crust. I was so excited to get it. They delivered me a cheese pizza instead. I called back immediately. The guy who answered the phone tried to convince me I ordered wrong pizza and then said oh no you right they put your pizza in the wrong box. Meaning I got someone else’s pizza and they received mine. He gave me option to have pizza remade and brought to me but said it would take another hour. I was hungry and didn’t want to wait. It was already late at night by then. (BTW the cheese pizza was awful and dried out) I went with second option and he told me he would process refund. I checked back a week later the manager Tyler told me the refund was never processed and didn’t know what that worker did. He then informed me he couldn’t get me refund but could send gift card. I kid you not it’s been three months I have yet to receive any compensation for this error Papa John has made. I have called multiple times over the months and have been gaslighted by both managers and workers there. The managers are rarely in. Lacey helped me a bit more but she said it has to go through their supervisor to send gift card. I gave them my home address over a month ago and still nothing. I have left multiple messages and never heard back. This Papa Johns is a disgrace to the franchise and to Kansas City in general. This experience and numerous other customer service experiences I have had in KC make me never want to return.

Idk what’s up with all of the negative reviews on here, it’s Papa John’s and you get what you pay for. Food is always made right (and I’m a picky orderer), deliveries are fast with good communication and every team member I’ve encountered is really friendly. Always have a good experience and hopefully these nice employees get the recognition they deserve! Good job guys ⭐⭐⭐
