This location is a quite small business and you can only carry out, but this Papa John’s has huge flavor in every dish, or pie they make!! What’s best is how great the employees are! They work with hardly any elbow room in a limited area, and they still manage to produce the best carry out,or delivery pizza in Ballwin!! We order Papa John’s once or twice a week. We understand things happen, no problem. There is a problem, however, when the manager, Lisa, has zero customer service skills. The last few times we have ordered we have received expired sauces. I never said anything because it’s just a few dollars and I understand things happen. We continued to receive expired sauces each order, so I finally called tonight to bring it to their attention. The manager accused me of lying and said the sauces she was looking at were not expired. I offered for her to have the driver come and switch them out so they could see the Expiration date and give us non expired sauces which she laughed at me and said, “we can’t do that.” I then offered to send a picture of the sauces with the expired dates and she would not do that either. I asked her to please just refund me for the sauces and she refused saying that she does not have proof. WHAT!!!????? She then hung up on me!! Who treats anyone like this, let alone a manager?? If she cared to look up our ordering history she would have seen how often we order and have never had an issue. Not sure why bringing expired sauces to her attention caused her customer service skills to go out the window or why she would want to lose great customers, that order quite frequently, over THEM sending us expired food??? The store is really clean. The workers are really nice they get your pizza out as quickly as they can to you. I work for dash so they are really nice to us most restaurants are not they’re not very nice with us dashers for some reason. They act like we are bothering them. We are just trying to do our job to and get the food to the customer for them and dash. So Papa John’s you keep rocking because you have been especially being shorthanded on workers.

#2 stars… Very disappointed overall! Due to the lack of ingredients promised! I ordered the new, “BACON PIZZA !” Feeling excited about the pizza … to only be let down . There was hardly any toppings at all the only topping that you could taste was all the cheese. So I am extremely let down! This is the first time I’ve ordered from this company in 10 years! I will continue to order from Imo’s!

Manager traci very poor customer service. I called twice to talk about my order and was placed on hold immediately without me answering. The third time I called she asked to put me on hold I told her no and she stated she has a customer walking in and put me on hold a 3rd time. I explained when she answered that it took and hour and 10 to get my food. She exclaimed that she knows it’s hot and fresh because she made it. Well it wasent I got a very cold lunch. I ordered online and the system said 2.5 to 3hr wait. I showed up about 2.5 hr and they mentioned they have updated their system and it was telling people online a lot longer wait than reality. They apologized and gave me a free 2 liter for the miscommunication. I was not upset by the delay and the pizza still tasted great! What a cool staff they have there and very personable.

Unfortunately, when an order is placed on the app it says 35-45 minutes, but 10-15 minutes later your pizza is done. This would normally be appreciated, but when the drive is 15 minutes from your house it really makes it hard to predict when you’re going to get a fresh pizza. Also, don’t expect anyone to be wearing masks. One deliveryman had a mask on, two employees were wearing them incorrectly, and at least three weren’t wearing them at all. I guess the mask mandate sign only applies to the customers. Won’t be back for a while. :/
