This place was amazing when it opened for about a month or two. The last couple orders have not been a good experience. The pizza we ordered today was not only barely above room temperature, which the delivery lady stated was from the delay caused by her car breaking down, and was understandable. We heated it in the oven at 350 for 5 minutes and found that pizza is doughy and definitely under cooked. The crust was not risen as it should be. We got the pizza in a little over an hour. The time is not the issue. The issue is receiving undercooked food, especially when you have kids under 3. That is completely not okay. My son had already ate the bulk of his piece before we found this. We will not be ordering from this location anymore and will not recommend it to others. That is not cheese in the photos, that is raw dough.

This order was a nightmare. I ordered one large pizza at 5:20pm. Around 6:30pm, I received a call but could not hear the person on the other end. Afraid that it was my driver and having had issues in the past with the app and our address, I tried to call the number back and it went straight to voicemail. I tried multiple times before deciding to call the Bethel, Ohio location that I had ordered from. I explained to the associate on the phone that the app had my address incorrect and that I had put the correct address in the driver notes as well as telling her it was the first house on the left. She placed me on hold for several minutes to status my order and then came back to tell me that it would be delivered shortly. I waited 25 more minutes. My home is 11 minutes from the store. I called again to be told that it would be here in one to two minutes. I said ok and disconnected. About 5 minutes later, the app updated to delivered so I called the store a 3rd time. This time I was told that the delivery driver came back to the store and that it would be another 30 minutes. At this point, it had been 2 hours since my order. I asked to speak with a manager.

I know most people only do reviews when they have a bad experience, so maybe that’s why the rating is low, but I can say that I have never had a bad experience. The staff at Bethel are always so nice and personable. The delivery drivers are fantastic! We’ve never had a delivery take more than an hour, even on Superbowl Sunday and they are always so friendly. The food is always hot and great. Hands down so much better than the other big chain in town!

The first order we got when they opened was amazing!!! Every order since has been terrible!! The pizza is undercooked. We thought because we tried the stuffed on our second order, nope. Regular pizza orders since are floppy. Even when we ask for extra bake. It has been a severe let down since I loved Papa’s back home in Athens ohio. Poor cooks. Drivers are always nice, food is just terrible and severely undercooked!

The phone rings twice and you’re speaking with a person, the manager is great and the pizzas are amazing. We tried the wings, and to be honest, they weren’t bad but if you pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes they’ll get that good crisp. We are just outside of the delivery zone, but I would for sure guarantee that the delivery drivers are pretty great, too.
