Received my gluten free pizza burnt and completely destroyed. I called the store and spoke to the manager and he said “it just comes burt, I don’t know what to tell you”. After I explained it was not edible he said he could help me and hung up on me. Absolutely unprofessional and the last time I order ever from Pappa John’s.

I am sick and tired of them screwing my order up! Wtong toppings, cutting the pizza in very large and very small wedges, forgetting extras like dipping cups and pepperoncinis, etc! When we ordered directly with Papa John’s we sometimes get delivery services in which the food is not hot,teetering on cold!

The driver (Emad) was told by my doorman that he’d need to go through the delivery office. The driver called me to say that I would need to come meet him him the lobby, instead. I asked to please deliver it to my condo like normal. He dropped the pizza off at the delivery office, LIED and told them that I didn’t want him come up and just left it there. I wasn’t able to leave and had to have a neighbor go get it!

Please don’t ever do business with this pizza joint. I routinely order a pizza several times a month from places like Angelo’s, Marco’s, and Pizza Hut, and they have no problem making deliveries successfully on time. When I ordered one pizza from Papa John’s in Lakewood, it took an hour for them to make an attempt to deliver it to me. They called once, I didn’t have my phone right next to me so I missed it. They made no attempt to enter the building, or use the call system to ring my apartment. They just left. After 75 minutes I called the store and explained the situation, they said “we’ll have the deliverer come back to you with the pizza you already paid for”. I went to the front lobby, stood in front of the main door, and waited 45 minutes. I saw at least two cars pull up and park, no one exited the vehicle. Once I realized no one was coming, I called the store again, The manager, Jill, said “my delivery guy came back and called your phone to make the delivery” I had my phone on me the whole time, I even called the store from the same number. No one came to the front door, no one made an honest attempt to do their job. I was standing in clear view waiting for this “delivery person”. Jill, the manager, tells me, “it’s too long of a drive to come back and give you the pizza you already paid for”. Basically telling me, the customer, I’m not worth the effort. As a result, I tell her to cancel the order, refund me, and I’ll never buy another thing from Papa John’s pizza. You should do the same.

By the way that they dress, slice and deliver (thrown on porch) the pizza you’d think that we were bothering them by ordering. Disappointing experience after disappointing experience until I decided to write a review. Please, try harder to be better.

Almost got killed by the delivery driver in the pick up truck. We were starting up at a green light on Detroit and she completely ran her RED, not yellow light. If we had gone slightly faster or had not slammed on the breaks she would’ve caused a very fatal accident going 40+mph down Detroit through a red light. Would’ve t-boned our car completely crushing me in the passenger seat. Not the store’s fault, but I’d hire delivery drivers who actually know how to drive.
