We LOVE Papa John’s. This is our home site and usually pretty good. The last two times we have ordered, we have had quality issues. This time, on top of the quality issues, they have us someone else’s pizza instead of our cheese sticks?? The quality here has definitely fallen off. Might not be back for a while.

Have ordered a few times from them and each time the crust hasn’t been fully cooked. And the garlic butter had blew up and the bottom of the box was soaked.. Won’t be going back unless they fix the problem.

Told multiple times pizza wld b done in ten minutes. Only to show up 25 minutes later to a pizza that has yet to be started. Same employee both times. Normally it’s like every other Papa John’s.

I’ve always loved Papa Johns until this trip Whatever I was served was NOT the pizza my family has always loved. The sauce could have easily been confused with a can of tomato paste. The bread sticks? Is there no longer any certain size or length for these?? The skeleton crew they seemed to be working with was very polite and the store was clean but other than that nothing positive to say.

Papa John’s has always been my favorite chain pizza. However, in the last 6 months the quality at this specific location has really gone downhill. I’m saying this after 7 or 8 orders. Cheese doesn’t cover the pizza. Skimpy on sauce. The dough is all in the crust and not in the pizza; making for almost a thin crust pizza with a giant dough perimeter. Slices never cut appropriately. And they removed all their good coupon deals which all the other Toledo area locations still advertise.

So I called Pizza Hut first, BIG MISTAKE… they told me 30-40 min wait for a pickup order… then Pizza Hut tells me they only had thin crust, when we prefer pan crust…. So I hang up and called Papa John’s… and sure enough my phone call was answered right away by some guy named Nick Hubber who was super friendly even though I can hear people hollering in the background.. he tells me 10min it’ll be ready. Got the pizza and was blown away with the freshness and attention to detail (I had a complicated order) but it all came out exactly how I expected 🙂 Keep up the good work guys n gals… I will be back again.

I’m not typically one to review, but my most recent experience with this establishment forced me to break the rule. After receiving the order, I had been given the wrong pizza at which point, I called and was told that the driver would be coming back around with my correct order as the driver had likely given me the wrong order. This was impossible because the wrong pizza was in the box with my address, but I digress. 80 minutes pass. The order never arrives. I call back to speak to the same manager that told me my order would be coming around in a few minutes. At this point, said manager tells me that the driver was “pretty sure he dropped off the right order at my house, but I can have a quality guarantee and my next pizza free.” I ask where my order is, he tells me I could use my free pizza now…no, I want the pizza I paid for; the additional pizza should be given at a later date following this cluster of an experience, he continues the runaround that I must be lying (because a supreme pizza is apparently the same as a pepperoni pizza in his mind) to which point I tell him if he would have actually sent the driver to my house, he would have seen the error upon opening the box THAT I SAT ON MY PORCH in waiting for an arrival that never came. So, I was then forced to use my free pizza that I was entitled to on an order that I had already paid for. The mental gymnastics that a manager must be using for this logic is quite extraordinary.

Ordered on line ahead. Got a text saying it was ready. Went in and still waited another 10 minutes for it to be boxed up and ready. Don’t know who sends those(automated or manual) should be accurate though.
