One word: ¡BIRRIA! The tacos were legendary, like Randy Moss in ’03. Next level. I would find it hard to order anything else. Portions were large, especially the fajitas. There was enough for a full dinner the next day. If you’re ordering chips the avocado salsa was the most impressive, with the molcajete a close second.

The food is fairly decent Mexican. The quality and taste are better than Mi Patron, La Carreta, or Lola’s. It’s easier to get a table with a party of 4 or more, than a party of 2.

Frist time there and they did not disappoint there was a 40 wait, but worth it. Played it safe and got the quesadilla and street tacos.

I dont know if it was just cause I was starving after seaquest or what, but I DEMOLISHED the tacos and they were insanley great. Our waiter had great service, stayed ontop of drinks etc and he had some great cologne fr Its an absolutley beautiful place to eat and has a beauty all around it. Whoever designed it is talented! Wish i didnt live 2 hours away cause I’d be here all the time telling everyone “i know a spot”

The mall has a winning restaurant and I didn’t even feel like I was in the mall once I stepped inside! From the mellow lighting to the small town facade that was the wall, Papa Gallo is an experience. The enchiladas were delicious and felt worth about $16. The waiters were nice though there were quite a few of them checking on us. The only hiccup was when my friend asked for some queso to go and they gave him a small condiment cup then charged him $8 for it on his receipt when he had no clue it cost that much for a little bit of extra queso. He immediately returned it and they refunded him without a fuss so no harm no foul. My friends all ordered different plates that I wish I had tried because they looked delectable; so now I have I to eat there again!

The most authentic Mexican food I’ve had on the east coast and reminded me of my childhood. So many salsa choices and they all tasted fresh and homemade. I had the birria tacos and they were so delicious! My waiter was very attentive and our drinks and food came extremely fast. Also, the atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful.

We came here for the first time tonight. Service, atmosphere & food were all excellent. I did hafta deduct a star for the fact that chips & salsa weren’t free. But the salsa choices were plentiful, and what we selected was tasty.

This is definitely a place more focused on the vibe and aesthetic than anything else. The decor IS gorgeous, but the food leaves something to be desired for the price. The choriqueso was really good, but a small portion for $13, and the chips are so thin and brittle that they break when trying to dip. The tres leches was phenomenal, though – for sure the best part of the visit. A michelada, street corn, choriqueso, super chimi, goloso burrito, and tres leches = $82.45 before tip.
