Decided to take a trip down to Tuckerton to check out Papa D’s based on all the hype online. This is place is LEGIT. The owners treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. It reminded me of going to Sunday dinner at my Italian grandmother’s house. Everything here is made with love and is fresh and homemade. I had the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce and a side of fries. OMFG! Best chicken parm sandwich I’ve ever had. The roll was super soft and fresh, the chicken was tender and succulent, and the sauce was tasty af. They cut their own fries every day, no frozen Lamb Watson here. I also sampled their Italian sausage. You can cut it with a plastic fork it’s so tender. This place is a gem. I will be back on a regular basis. Congrats on the opening and much success!

This place is AMAZING! Owners and atmosphere is great. They really make you feel like family, and can tell they really want you to enjoy! Food is super authentic and delicious. We had the cheesesteak, sausage pepper and onions, French fries, and zeppolis! Everything was 10/10 can’t wait to go back!

If you want an Italian family feel place with that same Italian family cooking and food.. this is the place to go!! It s order and pick up, with only 4 seats at a counter, my cheese steak was 11 bucks, and very good! A big friendly Italian guy (assume that’s the owner) greets you, and if you’ve experienced Italian folk, you will feel most welcome coming in. This is a place my Italian stepfather would have been at every day and have invited the owner over for dinner. Can’t say enough good things about this place!!
