Papa Dino’s Pizza & Grill is new in this area and it’s a good place to grab lunch off the beaten path. The salad bar has a variety of toppings, and the pizza buffet was great! What sets this pizzeria apart from others is their calzones. The calzones had more filling than other ones I’ve had. Great pizza place if you’re near the Capitol and looking for something a little different. The pictures attached I took after a group of 12 cleared out the buffet. Within minutes, the buffet was completely restocked with fresh, hot pizzas. I was impressed with how quickly they replenished everything!

Buffet is a good value. Pizza is above average! Sauce has flavor, not just out of a can. Crust similarly does not seem frozen. Not the biggest selection, but they don’t skimp on quality. As others have mentioned, calzone on the buffet, which is uncommon. Give it a try if you stumble upon it.

We weren’t feeling good today so we decided to let someone else do the cooking. This was our first time trying their food as a family! It was a hit! The kids had the mini cheese pizzas (7″), chicken strips dinner, and spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs. Husband had spaghetti with meat sauce and meatballs, and I had a philly cheese steak super spud. Great portion sizes for the price; the food was still hot when I got it home (ordered carry out)! Excellent service and friendly staff! We will definitely be back! Thank you, Papa Dino’s!
