Panorama Menu – Philadelphia, PA

Type : Italian restaurant

Location : Philadelphia, PA

Established in 1990 by Luca Sena, Panorama completed an extensive redesign by internationally acclaimed Marguerite Rodgers Interior Design in September 2016. Executive Chef Matthew Gentile has revamped the Italian menu. Panorama was recognized with a Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Wine Bar via an award bestowed on its custom-designed winekeeper/cruvinet, which offers 120 wines by the glass.

Chef Matthew Gentile interpreted Panorama’s stable of recipes, many of which had been in the Sena family for generations, and edited them with modern techniques, lighter ingredients and clean presentations.

Old City staple for Northern Italian cuisine & by-the-glass wine in the Penn’s View Hotel. Based on 510 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.5 stars. Price $$$

Overall, a great place to have dinner. It is pricey, the food is spectacular. Absolutely delicious, the portions are not large, but we found with appetizers and dessert, we were all very full. The wine is expensive, with a three times markup. No value here, but we did enjoy our selections. The staff was very very attentive and kind. Not sure I would go back, however, but I know what to expect.

Made a reservation there and went in on time but still had to wait for the table for about half an hour.

Nice spot. Great service and great location. Leave your car in the parking deck, and catch a lyft or uber to get around. I will be back again. Everything is in walking distance. Only muffins and coffee in the morning

Panorama was a bit of a disappointment. It probably will make a nice bar date if you are wine aficionados, but as a dinner date it leaves you underwhelmed.

I went to Panorama for the first time ever last night and I’m sitting here looking at the rest of y’all like “shame on you all for never telling me about this incredible place.”

Went here for a business dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious (I would die to eat the ravioli again), the spritzer was refreshing, and the atmosphere was chic. I’d go back again.

Ok, so it’s Restaurant Week. We expect the crowd. We made a reservation, tried to make it for 7pm, whoever answered suggested 7:30 pm so we took it. We arrive a few minutes before, and the table is not ready for another 30 minutes. We get the table, ready to order, because we had time to make definitive decisions. 1st course comes out- plated beautifully, tasted delicious. Wine flights arrive. All is well. Until we wait another 40-45 minutes for our main course. At this point, everyone is in the kitchen trying to help out, and we know because we were seated right beside the kitchen. The waitress walks by several times, never stopping to check on us or give an update or anything. Finally the food arrives. It’s good. Again, plated beautifully. Then dessert and complimentary lemon cello for our inconvenience. Good food, but I would not go during Restaurant Week.

celebrated Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. Shout out COLE for being the best server! He made our meal very delightful with his sense of humor! My boyfriend got the wine flight and loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed the cavatelli and then had some of my boyfriends truffle gnocchi. The gnocchi melted in my mouth, I was in heaven the sauce was perfection. I ended my meal with the tiramisu, they added coffee ice cream on top and it was SUCH a game changer! I savored every bite! 10/10 experience!
