First went to this place in 1997 during lunch while renovating a apartment around the corner. Ever since then have been back a few times every couple of years with family and friends to experience this place. The staff is nice, food is always fresh and cooked properly. Very inexpensive place, the ambiance is different but always a good place to visit. There is a reason on Saturday nights this place has a wait outside and the neighbors are empty.

We ordered chicken tikka masala, curry and biryani. The food was horrible. Never had such bad Indian food.

Really cool place aesthetically. People definitely come here for the ambiance (and the veg samosas are pretty yummy). Everything is incredibly mild (even the onion chutney lol which definitely should’ve been the first red flag). It was really disappointing. If you like spice rather than just aromatics, don’t come here (or come here, get a samosa, then go somewhere else for an entre!). I have updated my Indian food search to include the key word “spicy,” as I now know it isn’t a given. I don’t see myself coming back here.

Lovely place with great staff. Memorable decorations and good prices with fair portions. The food was so good, and the waiters were hilarious and sweet- they even brought us a complementary appetizer. The place had great decor and even though cramped it was such a fun dining experience.

I’ve got to be honest. I reccomended this place to friends. And from past experiences I thought it was going to be a nice meal. Upon arrival however, the server was pushing me in my chair, making sly remarks and taking forever to take our orders.. the appetizers were great but the entrees were sub par at best, tasted like they’d been prepared days earlier.. and to top it all off.. they stole money from us.. we ordered $68 worth of food and after what I can only assume was taxes and “gratuity”(receipt wasn’t itemized) my bill was almost $120.. I’m sorry but that just doesn’t add up man. I don’t write reviews often but it sucks you can’t just have a fun day out with friends. You have to really pay attention to folks when you eat at this place.. my L I guess

We first saw this place while watching the TV series Daredevil so it’s been on our hit list for a while and it did not disappoint. Straight up we were there for a photo of eating amongst the lights but the food is DELICIOUS and very well priced. The staff here aren’t bubbly but they work hard and move fast despite the venue being quite small. We were extremely impressed with the speedy service, tasty food and overall experience. It’s an absolute must see!

Eclectic and an experience, but they do NOT open at 2pm as stated on the web and they are CASH ONLY. We arrived at 2:30p and we’re told to come back in 5″. When we banner back 7″ minutes later he was “oh you’re back, I guess you can come in.” Then I ordered a chan saag dish, he came back about 10″ later, asked if that’s what I ordered. I said yes. He said they were out of spinach would mushrooms do. Well I guess they’ll have to…but shouldn’t you keep spinach in stock with such a large about of dishes that include it or should you all least know you’re out when a customer orders? Over all, all three DIFFERENT dishes were the exact same color, but they were tasty enough. Go if interested in the dusty Christmas lights, skip if you want good service with a smile and better than okay Indian food.
